Like I said before, there are only two chances: Board entrapment, or tying his life force to a planet. That's about it.
If the Phantom Zone and the Speed force couldn't do it...then the board sure isn't doing it.
If magic (which doesn't follow logical rules) won't affect him. PC at Surfers level isn't doing much either.
Manjaro's post is on point.
My defense of Surfer comes from the fact that people write off the whole Batman using k-nite on Kal-L to no avail point. The weak point with that is, Surfer wouldn't use that k-nite on SBP, if he is infact, deathly weak to it. He'd scan him, and replicate the radiation variety the CA tells him. But barring that, and a time travel attempt to kill SBP before he got his powers, he would lose......But Surfer did trap Legacy in the board, iirc. There is that to think about.
And why couldn't he tie his lifeforce to the planet?? Has something similar been attempted only to fail?? Just curious.

How can you recreate radiation that only existed in an alternate (now destroyed/returned) time line/world.

Precrisis Supermen timed travelled at will. Time travel is not easy for SS. Even if it happened to be a viable option, there isn't a past for SS to go to to even get a try.
What would make you think the board or trying to tie SBP prime is any more viable than the phantom zone?
P.S. At this point, we don't even know if Kryptonite works on SBP. All other normal Superman weaknesses have been shown to be ineffective...so even that is up to speculation.

There's too much damn speculation with him though, and he's gone from pansy to uber in mere seconds. It doesn't make any sense. One minute, he's taking everybody out, and the next he's getting whomped.
At this point, he's taken shots, but hasn't been whooped. Thanos took a lot of shots in the Gauntlet also...like Spiderman nearly knocking him down.

True. You've gotta admit though, he is kinda emo. 😬
Definitely. Playing devil's advocate though. SBP and Alex got a pretty raw deal. Alex had no childhood and never got to live any type of life, and SBP had everything taken away from him at a young age. These guys helped save the remaining universe and get imprisoned for it.
To make things worse. The is only 1 woman in "heaven" with them, she's old...and Superman's got her already anyway.
Since they never had a complete childhood or proper guidance, it's no surprise that being imprisoned would make those 2 make some foul choices.

I'm not sure who this Superboy Prime is. I keep thinking of pre-crisis Superboy, one of those super-incarnations who pulls planets around by giant chains (giant chains...gotta love that). As much as I love Surfer, I see him having a very hard time against this kind of Superperson. Then again, given Surfer's versatility...I see this going either way, largely because, from where I sit, there are just so many factors (known and unknown) to consider.
I am such a Nerd I counted that picture of him pulling 13 planets on a chain.
Am I the only one that realizes Superboy Prime is one armor transmutation away from getting his ass kicked?
This Flavor of the Month psychosis that afflicts this board is hilarious.
First it was Superman Prime was unbeatable.
Then V for Vendetta comes out in theatres and he's a top tier street level character capable of beating the likes of DareDevil and Punisher and on par with Batman (based on a movie).
Now it's Superboy Prime and Vulcan.
I, for one, do not let popular opinion and fads disuade my use of logic.
Yes, Superboy Prime is powerful, but he has a very glaring weakness Surfer can exploit:
His armor.
With a wave of his hand Surfer can make Superboy Prime's armor emit red sunlight rather than yellow sunlight and transmute the alloy it's made out of into solid kryptonite. He's one of a few heroes with the powerset to pull off such a tactic.
Cosmic awareness trumps a Kryptonian scorned. 👇
I don't roll with bandwagons. They usually end up going over a cliff.

He's right their.
Guess who's going to win.....
