I hate that about them! I have only found two people I think that haven't been annoying jerks. I think I'll switch to the non-ranked games or host a campaign

I am really surprised then, especially for Halo 2 (which I play and have the most problems with the people, GOW isn't quite as bad). Almost everyone I go to, there is almost always a few really annoying people who swear and are quite annoying.
the only thing i get mad at is the laggers...you shoot a shotgun at them, but the bullets go through them, and they're shot on you blows u to peices with one strike. sometimes the sniper will shoot me through a wall because on his screen, my head popped out, but truly on mine, i passed that area 5 seconds ago.

That happens in every FPS MP game. It just them bones.
Gears of War is one of the best games I've seen in a while. I'm not a huge gamer, as I suck as a player, but I watch my friends and my husband play all the time. And I actually gave in and picked up the controller for this one, even though I died a lot.
It's still an awesome game, good action, amazing graphics, great characters, decent storyline.
Alright, I have been thinking, I have no idea who is actually going to win this war. Even how little they showed the Locust's point of view, teh parts they did (the part of the Locust leader, queen maybe?) were pretty big parts. And by the end cinematic when she talks, it makes the humans seem stupid, dumb, and incompetent, and that the Locust's are the clear superiors. But then I think that we are humans and of course we are going to win...I just have no idea, usually I know who will win, so this is kind of bugging me...
I have been playing GOW for a few days now...
Great game, great fun, great gameplay. Not THAT great graphics however. I've seen better.
And in the end, it's just another shooter - which is fine by me by the way. But I don't see the Big Deal. It's just a good, polished shooter with some nice touches, nothing more.

I just purchased this game today.
Haven't played it yet.
Don't know why.
I do have to go through each booklet that comes with a game so that held me up a bit along with another game's booklet that I also got today.
So yeah.........can't wait to finally play it.
Too bad I don't have broadband..... cry
And it has a 48 free trial for Xbox Live Gold. bawling

What did I see in GOW ? Erm, well, a lot of grey ruins. You see the difference ?
Again, it is a good game with great graphics, but not the best graphics.
