On my first game it took around 12hrs. I kept searching for the tags. Didn't get them all.

Do you need all of them for an achievement?

you get 10 points for getting 10, 20 points for getting 20, and then 30 for getting all of them

I'm still missing two. I've already play the game in insanity.

Random Multiplayer Tips:

When you see your partner getting chainsawed don't unload a clip on the guy chainsawing because hes invinciable for those couple seconds, so get a perfect reload and unload on him as soon as the animation is over.

Don't be the first to rush power weapons like the boomshot on gridlock. Instead hide but make sure they can't see your shadow and the run in and slay them while there in the animation picking up the weapon.

If you find you and another person charing each other 1v1 with he chainsaw don't hesitate to just blindfire him realquick then re-rev your chainsaw for an easy kill.

In maps like Gridlock and Canal where lots of time at the begining each team rushes the sniper in gridlock or the torque bow in Canal. an easy way to give you the edge is to blast a clip with the lancer on the way there and get a perfect reload.

Don't underestimate the pistol the melee on it is sick.

Take the time to get the perfect reload on the sniper. with the glowing bullet one shot will down the enemy.

Sticking together doesent mean running in a line. try to get some flanks going and get fire on the enemy from multiple angles.

Actually, for the first tip, the smartest thing to do is just to pull out your shotgun, get right next to them and point it at their face, and blow their head off a soon as their done chainsawing.

I like to chainsaw the guy as soon as they're done chainsawing. And then someone will come and chainsaw me. And there's a wonderful chainsaw train, so awesome.

The train is funny, but personally I hate it. It may look cool & funny, but it's so stupid ROfl.

Hmmm, these could help, thanks 🙂

you should rephrase that to "shoot all bullets in your clip with the lancer except for 1 bullet, then active reload once you see the enemy" that way you don't have to worry about the active reload ending a few seconds later. because active reloads end fast, so you should only reload if you see an enemy, or atleast know where they are located.

Yeah, I was in a hurry when I was writting down that stuff. Too bad I can't edit the post anymore. Also for another tip: If you forget to active reload after the character is almost done reloading just do a melee, and the reload animation will start over again giving you time to do the Active Reload. This is also a good to way to save the Longshot reload for an unsuspecting enemy.

As for other tips um

MANSION:
-If the opposing team keeps rushing the sniper or boomshot, flank around the outside and wait for them to enter the building, in which you can sneak up on them relatively easy.
-In mansion gun the sofa down if you are going to kill someone who is going for the sniper, it will
provide for and easy kill as they wont be able to defend themselves and will have no cover.

Obviously dont underestimate the pistol. One technique is to fire three quick shots at an enemy, then quickly melee them for a down. Or, for something cooler looking, melee them, then step back and start blindfiring, you will blow their head off.

If you know an enemy has the sniper, and if you hear them make some sort of cheering cry after they reload, be wary, they have an active reloaded shot which will down you immediately.

Canals
- On Canals, rush the sniper immediately, and if you pick it up quick enough you can decapitate the enemy sniper as they pick up their rifle.
-When picking up the torque bow on canals, try to stay as far on your side as you can as you pick it up. If you do it correctly, the enemy sniper will be unable to see your head from the sniper point and will be unable to decapitate you.
- If the other team picked the sniper first and u know he is waiting for u to pick the sniper, throw a smoke grenade, same thing can be use if ur fighting a guy with a sniper......

Blindfiring with the shotgun when on cover on a wall/barrier is much more powerful than a normal blindfire/aimed shot, since the bullets will stay much closer together.

If you know an enemy is somewhere that you can see, and you have the torque bow, you dont have to aim as you charge it up, you can charge it without aiming then aim when you are ready to take your shot.

And on a more inspiring note, do not underestimate your smoke grenades. Enemies will often get perplexed by smoke, and use it to work out your position. If you can get behind the enemy but need to keep them distracted, hurl a smoke grenade over their heads. They will be too intent searching the smoke for you that you can easily chainsaw one from behind and then dash into the smoke for cover - this works a treat.

Also, throw the smoke one way, and run the other.

Smoke snipers.

If you are about to die, don't feel it's wrong to grenade tag someone with smoke. They will think it is a normla 'nade and try to roll into you, giving you time for a melee. On the offchance that they do still kill you, the smoke grenade will give away their position to your allies.

GRIDLOCK:
-Don't ever have your whole team go for the boomshot. This will give the other team's sniper easy targets.

TYRO STATION:
-If the opposing team is rushing the grenades underneath the tracks, wait for the train to go by and flank through the staircase on the tracks that lead downstairs.

Don't underestimate the sniper meele range, its quite large

If you got some **** trying to do the "run across the banisters to exit the playing field" glitch, rush the Torque Bow and smack him with an arrow just as he exits the area.

Listen to what you character and characters around you say, things like "Incoming smoke" will keep you from diving away from one becouse you thought it was a frag. Same with "Incoming Frag".

Also listen for Active reload sounds and failed reload sounds.

I did that in Mauseleum and they were all mad at me! 😂

Ya that is pretty funny 😂 Ive gotten 3 but not 4 with 1 hit.

Apparently there will be 2 new maps for Gears

http://3dnewsnet.com/gow_new_maps.htm

OMG!!! THOSE MAPS LOOK AWESOME!!! I CAN'T WAIT!! I still like the old maps but these ones look cooler!!

Ya.. I cant wait to play Raven Down, that looks awesome.

In addition to the new maps there will also be many bug fixes. Here is the source and list:

http://www.kotaku.com/gaming/gears-of-war/gears-of-war-update-detailed-226942.php

• Players can now get the Achievement for "Dish Best Served Cold" when using Troika turret to kill RAAM
• Fixed rare situation where host could loop countdown and never start match
• Fixed rare situation where players could get stuck after chainsawing in multiplayer
• Reduced Grenade Tag melee distance
• Enabled "Strict" NAT check on host to prevent possible connection issues

The only one I dont like is the host name wont appear anymore and the one I like best is the shorter distance to grenade tag someone which got really anoying also the chainsaw. You could be 4 or 5 feet away and still get chainsawed, its like a vacuum that sucks you in
