The only one I dont like is the host name wont appear anymore and the one I like best is the shorter distance to grenade tag someone which got really anoying also the chainsaw. You could be 4 or 5 feet away and still get chainsawed, its like a vacuum that sucks you in

Same, because if you are talking to someone in a private chat, and your looking for one so you can both join, we always say something like "do you see LinixCobra (hehe) on Gridlock" now it will be harder to find one that we both end up in.

I like the increased penalty for quitting a game, annoying fools.

I HATE THAT CHAINSAW VACUUM THING! I was so far away and some guy activiated his chainsaw and what do you know! I get pulled right in!

Ya I agree, I dont know if -50 points will still stop people from quitting. I can make 100-200 points in 1 round and besides they still have a chance of making 500 points and quitting but only losing 50 which is peanuts to anyone who plays Gears online.

I like playing with my friends online so we can chat and make the game more interesting by telling jokes. If only clans could play on Player Matches and not stack teams in Ranked Matches then im fine with that.

Once I was on Gridlock playing Warzone and a guy was taking cover above a set of stairs at an angle towards the Boom Shot in the building with the Hammer burst. I was sneaking up(both of us were taking cover on opposite sides of the same wall) and the guy chainsawed me from the other side. I stood in one side and he was on the other and he killed me. Sad thing is I was hosting. WTF? I hate the chainsaw, and I love the fact grenade tagging will not be as annoying as it was. yay.

Hmm...for some reason I haven't had too much trouble with grenade taggers, I don't seem to get many (if any) in the matches I join. But when they are there, it bugs me when they tag me from farther than they can reach.

About time they fix the aspect ratio bug, now I can play on my PC moniter in high def.

I'm just glad I managed to get the tag achievement before the patch XD

the patch = gayness 4ever

bad :
1.)can't find friends ranked matches now...
2.)no knowledge of who has host shot...untill he has 30 more kills then everyone
3.)everyone quit playing

good :
1.) splash damage on hammer of dawn = no cheapness
2.) 2 new lvls after 2 days of patch 🙂
3.) easier to get #1 on leaderboard!

I thought the same thing, same for the chainsaw too 😛

They got rid of the Host's name because people just stacked teams. 4 friends vs 4 strangers who just met. I can't believe how many times I was asked "Blue Idiot can you go locust so me and my friends with host to boot can school you and the other 3 strangers who just met."

I honestly do not like the patch. I didnt mind going over to the other side if someone asked me to because I still got a minimum of 10 kills per match however now that the patch is here people still drop out and guess what... those are the ones who asked for this patch. So I say to those who like the new update to f***off!!

If this patch is so people can stop boosting or stacking teams then why do people still drop out. As soon as I started playing with the new patch someone on my teams says they like the patch (kepping in mind this guy also sucks because he was last on my team with less than 50 points) then when we are losing 5-2 on a first to 10.. boom he quits. Also Halo 2 uses ranked matches where you can have your friends in it.

I don't really like the patch, I would be in a private chat with one of my friends so we could both find a match we could both get into, now it is a lot harder. I know people don't like when the team is packed with 4 friends, but we were only two, and we wouldn't always be on the same team, just to see who could kill who more. I would prefer to not have the patch, but I guess I have to live with it...

By the way, anybody get the new maps? I have heard two different dates fr its release, today and tomorrow...

Played both maps, they're both neat. The Raven Down one is really tiny and basic, the museum one is wonderful, though.

I just got home and have just downloaded them, now all I have to do is play them, I may try and hold out until after I eat though, being I am really hungry.

And, is it true that for the pistol achievement, you have to do it in warzone? Or can it be done in Execution?

they hadda fix the HoD too because the splash on it no longer kills u if it drops 10 feet from you. that must be included /w the grenade tagging thing.

I played the two new maps and I didn't like the Racen Down as much as Old Bones, it is just too small, you moce two feet and the other two is aoready on your ass, still fun nonetheless, just be prepared for short rounds. Old Bones was really fun, I was waiting on one side of a door and someone walked in, BAM, head gone, another came to see what happenned, BAM, dead. The third was more careful, I had to move around the corner to kill him, and I did! It was pretty intense, they decided they wouldn't try and take that door anymore 😛
