If I start talking about the designer I'll go off topic but okay, basically I believe in a universal conscious. The highest level of the conscious is when all minds are pretty much the same, as we go lower in dimensions ( See String theory) more sub consciouses we find.But they are fragments of a higher intelligent.

In general, when one says 'evolution' or 'evolutionist', one is referring to someone who believes God is bunk.

In general, when one says 'Intelligent Design Theory' or 'Intelligent Design Theorist', one is referring to someone who believes that a higher power--possibly God, maybe even aliens--used evolution to put the universe in motion. [Like Aristotle said. I like that guy. He's old.]

I never said they all did, But the theory as it's known does not support nor deny a diety it is indifferent, also not all evolutionist belive in abiogenesis but that doesn't stop others from proclaiming it does.
