I don't want to have kids though. Maybe one or two tops, but i doubt it.

I grew up helping my parents raise my siblings. I don't want kids of my own, i WANT personal freedom.

So, you DO or DO NOT want kids? Because there is a huge difference between none and one or two.

The thing is I DO love children, and i am a very good person, but i don't think I'd be a good father.

I have given up much of my personal freedom helping raise my own siblings and help keep my family together.

I know what a hassle kids can be also....and i lack patience. I just don't think i would make a good father....not because i am not loving, i would never abuse a child...EVER

But part of me doesn't want this "family life"...and then another part of me DOES.....

I don't want to be a lonely adult when im older. I want to have kids to inherit my properties, etc.

But I also don't want to have to go through the struggles of financial problems, tuition, watching my kid get sick, watching my kid get bullied, seeing my kid rebel through Adolescence, having to worry about someone other than myself, lack of sleep, etc.

If i DO have kids...it will be when im like 40 or something.

I feel the same way. I'm wonderful with kids. However, I do want kids. And it's a good thing to recognize you shouldn't have kids. I used to feel that way for a long time, based on my social life. However, I have moved past that. I know I would be a good parent...but "am I ready for it?"and "should I do it?" are two different things.

If I really, really need money... I'd give my sperm up. But otherwise, no, I'd like to be apart of my kids life.

I think I need to have a good 10-15 years to MYSELF before i have any kids.

Being a good person does not mean you'll be a good parent automatically. And wanting a kid doesn't mean your ready for one.

Kids...its no joke, thier not pets or toys. They are people who you are partially responsible for in thier full development (other than society, tv, school etc.)

You can easily F#$@ up a kid's mentality as hard as it is to raise them right.

At this point in my life, I am a little to greedy and self centered to give up my life to raise children (well im 20 years old so ofcourse)

But If i ever got a woman pregnant by accident, I would take full responsibility for it. That's one of the reasons i prefer to have sex with men than women.
