Three players widely regarded as top-10 picks in the NFL draft, including Georgia Tech wide receiver Calvin Johnson, have admitted to previously using marijuana, Pro Football Weekly reported. Johnson, Clemson defensive end Gaines Adams and Louisville defensive tackle Amobi Okoye admitted using the drug, according to multiple sources who have watched the interviews, the publication reported. The admissions were made during standard interviews at the NFL Scouting Combine, which are taken by every player and shared by all 32 teams for review.

While some teams could see marijuana use as troubling, others might view the players' admissions of prior use as a sign of maturity, particularly since players are encouraged to be honest in the interviews.

its been broken before, i hope he however has a bad year. He doesnt even have to go down much from last year as he isnt even coming off a great year like past madden cover stars.

You would take the guy who gets rundown by the defense over a guy who doesnt get rundown by the defense?

I'd be dissappointed if the Cowboys take Jerrett in the first round.

DJ has 0% chance of being taken over CJ. It looks like 3-4 WR's could go before him.

I would take the guy who runs the best routes and catches the most balls thrown to him in the 2007 NFL draft. I want to take the guy who is gonna go get it even if it is not thrown right to him. I want the guy is more reliable and a proven winner.

That is to bad, if GM's weren't caught up in the hype then they would see who the real #1 WR is, instead of the guy who has a big body and does not use it. When I decide who the better player is I look at what they have done on the field, not at a damn combine or pro day. If your mind was not made up and you looked at that video then you would take Jarrett hands down. But people are so caught up into this guys size that they fail to realize that he did next to shit in college and then when asked to explain this they blame it on his QB and fault Jarrett for being at a good college with a good offense.

But you wouldn't be if they took Ginn Jr.? What you smokin? A Jarrett/Owens combo would rival that of Harrison and Wayne.

um jarret is more like williams than CJ is. And CJ did perform in college he made some sick plays. And im sorry but playing for GT and USC are HUGE differences. DJ had a better QB, O-line, run game, fellow WR's everything. I think a big concern people have about jarret is can he get seperation at the next level because he lacks a bit in speed.

No one is saying jarrett is no good though, but Calvin Johnson is an amazing athlete bottom line.

Actually if you notice their games Calvin Johnson looks exactly like Williams except that Mike Williams actually used his big body and another difference I see is in their speed. But Jarrett's games looks nothing like Williams and Jarrett is far from having a big body like Calvin or Mike.

Calvin Johnson is much better than Dwayne Jerrett.

Who cares what his stats were, or if a team like USC won alot, its all about how well you can play in the NFL. From the video who just showed, he made really good catches, but he couldnt outrun the defense and if Ginn, or Johnson had that ball, it would of been an TD. That's against college players, not NFL players. You think Jarrett can get seperation against guys like Bailey, Newman, Clements and others? I dont think so. The only thing I would get Jarrett is for redzone.

Sure, Jarrett might be a good player, but if your going to take him in the first round, he has to be great at all things, not just redzone.

Why dont the teams all draft David Ball. The guy who broke Rice's TD record?

So far it seems like Jarrett's stats are working against him, and quit comparing him to Mike Williams. Mike Williams had he stayed in college could have been a great wide out but you have to remember he was away from football for a whole year. Mike Williams failure in a few seasons in the NFL has nothing to with Jarrett. And who knows, Mike Williams with the proper workout and training could get into NFL shape and turn out to be a really good receiver. I really don't understand why people are labeling him a bust when he has only been in the NFL for like 3 seasons.

Let me save you all some trouble and any more nonsensical analysis of DJ vs. CJ.

IMO, anyone rating any other receiver over CJ needs to get out of this thread and get to some ESPN Classic re-broadcasts in a hurry!
