I really dont know about the Saints. I think 5 wins is an absolute max for them looking at their schedule. Maybe their offense can really put it all together and somehow put up a lot of points every week. But its an offense with a lot of new parts that havent been together before and Deuce is still coming of an injured season. And the D is just not pretty at all.

I'll say 5-11 but I could be, being too generous.

I think Saints could be one of those teams that suddenly win 7-8 wins. I'm not saying they will but heck, its the NFL and well, anything goes.

Hell, Tampa Bay went to the playoffs last year.

They have good players in key offensive positions. I can see something happening.

they do have good players in skill positions, but they play in a very tough division and conference. they will probably pull out a win against my falcons but i do not think they will beat the panthers or the bucs. i would say that another 3-13 or maybe 4-12 seaqson is not out of the question. they will be picking pretty high in the draft again next year. put them in the nfc north or the afc south this year and they might have done better.

So how exactly do you judge a indivdual career you dont like stats ,acomplishments? By the way I love how diss stats of the guys career which in baseball is how they judge guys slick. um well he screwed up by staying in college. If he wanted that big check he shoulda left when he was the garunteed #1 pick. Hes managed to get on a better team in a better situation now and he should be happy. His deal also is reportedly better then AJ Hawk at #5 so it sounds like they are offering him a fair deal for the #10 pick. THat being said Im not big on the way they do it that your contract has so much to do with what pick you are. Now Warner is unlikely to be able to stay healthy all year, and Leinart is supposed to be a very NFL ready QB. That being said the cardinals could really really use him as the backup and need him in camp learning the system. This is just a stupid way to start a career I think its the Agents and Managers and crap that get in the way a lot. Hopefully they get a deal done soon. The Coach shouldnt be going to the media talkin smack though that wouldnt inspire me to take a deal im not happy about and get in camp.

anyone else think MNF is gonna suck with ESPN doing it. Theisman is just horrible and Im not a fan of the presentation with the clock/score/down thing always on the screen right in the middle at the bottom its really distracting.

The guy from PTI is absolute horseshit, even worst than Dennis Miller because atleast Miller is funny (standup).

Another pet peeve is players getting compared while in training camp. For example, they were talking about Greenway's college partner Hodge about how better he is doing in camp than AJ Hawk. It's soo ridicolous.
Hawk could be injured a bit, or heck, the packers camp is more difficult.

Its like the comparision between Ware and Merriman rookie year. (the controversy about how Dallas didnt pick up Merriman, even though he was told he was going there). Ware plays every down and needs to look out for run plays, pass coverage and blitzing. Merriman on the other the hand only had to worry about rushing the passer....thats it... obviousl Ware wont do as good ... ( Im not saying Merriman is bad player, just sick of the comparision, they play two completly different roles on the team)

yea kornheiser is good on PTI with wilbon but not on MNF.
