Sup? Won my first amatuer kickboxing match last night by 1st round KO. I gotta admit, I was nervous... It turned out great though. I was grinning ear to ear for the rest of the night.

Congrats. What was your winning technique?
Thx. I caught him with a hard cross, that bloodied his nose, and he almost went down... I followed up with a flurry, kick to the ribs, some hooks... He went 2 a knee, and didn't get up. It was a little sloppy, but i'll take it. 22 seconds/1st round/KO.

There's nothing worth getting stoked about in the UFC anymore with the exception of maybe Chuck. The Ultimate Fighter is even worse. I am excited about the Pride Open Weight Grand Prix though. I've been busy lately but I am going to watch it Pay Per View when I can. Do you watch Pride?Post results though. Hopefully Diego loses.
I'm not a Diego fan by any means, but he looked good against Karo. His stamina was better, and it looked like he wanted it more. An awesome fight, Diego won decision. Leben, Lister, & Riggs, all won their fights. I'm a Pride fan, I own most of the ones that are out on DVD. I like UFC as well. If it's MMA, K1, or boxing, I'll watch it. TUF4 should be good, they're established fighters, and there are some good strikers on the show... I'll watch it. And yeah, the Grand Prix should be awesome.
Speaking of Chuck, is your money on him or Babalu?

Chuck and Babalu are fighting again? My money is on Chuck of course. Chuck has come a long way skillwise in his career and already beat Babalu. I'll admit I haven't seen much of Babalu lately. Has he gotten much better? I'm not saying he was bad before but he won't beat Chuck now if he doesn't have some new material. Chuck is virtually peerless in UFC now. Yeah, I think Chuck SHOULD win, but we both know that doesn't always work out. Crocop SHOULD have beaten Mark Hunt when they fought in Pride, but shit happens.
Yeah dude, they fight this Saturday. Babalu is on a 10 fight win streak... He's look's ready, and hungry for a title. Should be good.
Chuck is the harder hitter, Babalu is no slouch standing either. I'd give it to Babalu on the ground. I think he's a better wrestler, and his sub's are better. Anything can happen though in a fight.
Ok all. I just watched Crocop owning in the Pride Grand Prix. All I have to say is..."Fedor, you better watch out." For the first time in a long time, Crocop came out with A++ game. He showed us why he is the number one striker in all of MMA. He straight up knocked Silva out, and while I didn't like the way he won against Barnett, he was going to win either way....like he has the last two times they fought. Anyways, if Fedor was in the Grand Prix, I think Crocop could have taken it. Crocop has renewed his fighting spirit. FEDOR WHY DID YOU HAVE TO GO AND SCREW UP YOUR HAND!!!
Oh well, at least Crocop is now the Pride 2006 Grand Prix champion.
Barnett also gets props for beating Nogueira. It was close but Josh was impressive.
The new Heavyweight hierchy is Fedor, Crocop, Barnett, Nogueira, Aleks.
Crocop vs Fedor 2 should happen soon. If Crocop stays like he is or ascends to yet another level, Fedor might end up with is first loss in Pride.
