Ok all. I just watched Crocop owning in the Pride Grand Prix. All I have to say is..."Fedor, you better watch out." For the first time in a long time, Crocop came out with A++ game. He showed us why he is the number one striker in all of MMA. He straight up knocked Silva out, and while I didn't like the way he won against Barnett, he was going to win either way....like he has the last two times they fought. Anyways, if Fedor was in the Grand Prix, I think Crocop could have taken it. Crocop has renewed his fighting spirit. FEDOR WHY DID YOU HAVE TO GO AND SCREW UP YOUR HAND!!!
Oh well, at least Crocop is now the Pride 2006 Grand Prix champion.

Barnett also gets props for beating Nogueira. It was close but Josh was impressive.

The new Heavyweight hierchy is Fedor, Crocop, Barnett, Nogueira, Aleks.

Crocop vs Fedor 2 should happen soon. If Crocop stays like he is or ascends to yet another level, Fedor might end up with is first loss in Pride.

Yeah I hate to say I told eveyone this was gonna happen he was completely concentrated, focused, and in tremendous shape..

StyleTime are you leaning toward Mirko in the rematch or going with fedor? Fedor is tuff to go against but I will always root for Cro cop he seemed to improve on all aspects of his game which is scary.
By the way was I the only one to yell **** yeah at the tv when that HLK put Silva out 😱 that was worth the 35 bucks alone to see..

Yeah. I am definitely leaning towards Crocop when they rematch. I will always root for Crocop though, because I like him better. Fedor is tough, but honestly Crocop COULD have won last time. There were several times where Crocop could have laid Fedor out if he actually did a continued attack. Now judging from Crocop's most recent performance, he could take Fedor if he fights like he did at the Grand Prix.

P.S. Yes, I was like "Holy shit!" when I saw the kick put Silva down.

Well then you will love this:

Man, Crocop is getting scary.

Btw, what do you think is next for Barnett? The next up are Crocop and Fedor. Josh has already lost to Crocop three time lmao so a fight against Fedor is probably futile. That must suck to be stuck in Josh's place. He's gotten better but still basically stuck at the same spot.

Thats a damn good question Like you said the way it came out is just to be honest akward. Its really up in the air at the moment I have heard alot of different things But I do know this was his big chance to step up he really needed to take Mirko out now its just Put it this way there needs to be a shake up..

Right now He's fighting on Real Deal card in Vegas October 21 2006 though is oponent is unkown. Its going to be ahell of a card I know I'm getting it here are a list of the fighters who will particapting

Fedor Emelianenko vs. Mark Coleman
Mauricio "Shogun" Rua vs. Kevin Randleman
Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic vs. TBA
Josh Barnett vs. TBA
Phil Baroni vs. TBA
Kazuhiro Nakamura vs. TBA
Kazuyuki Fujita vs. TBA
Pawel Nastula vs. TBA
Vitor Belfort vs. TBA

Barnett is fighting Nastula... Mark Hunt vs. Eric Esch was added to the card. I'll give it to Silva, he went out swinging... It was CroCop's night though.

Mark hunt is Fighting butterbean 😆 😮‍💨 Thats a smart move for Hunt considering how he was imbarassed by barnett. He should really stick with Kickboxing..

PRIDE FC has added two non-tournament fights to “Critical Countdown Absolute”. BTT fighter Antonio Rogerio Nogueira will face the tough strike Alistair Overeem, K-1 vet Yoshihiro Nakao will fight Eun Su Lee..

Jason "mayhem" miller who took out robbie Lawler via arm triangle winning the ICON middleweight title. Will face Frank Trigg December 1...

And for those who missed it Mat "The law" Linland took out Jermey Horn via TKO....

Sup ya'll? Hughes or Penn Saturday? I predict Hughes by revenge.

Its hard to go against Hughes but I believe he's ripe for a fall When BJ is in shape mentally and physically hes tuff to beat. When BJ took on GSP he really wasnt in good shape I think he will be ready for this.. I will go with BJ TKO via strikes or atleast thats what I want..
Who else is on the card Reaper I really dont keep up with much of the UFC

why watch it when you can participate, get into it boys!

Wasn't a great card... Matt won by TKO in the 3rd round. Mike Swick beat "The Crow," via decision.

Yeah, Penn was winning the fight. He was up on the scorecard the 1st 2 rounds... Matt got side-control, and locked up Penn's arms, and pounded away, until Big J. stopped it. That win places Hughes as one of, if not, the best welterweight of all time( IMO.)

Thats pretty impressive I really thought BJ was gonna take it thats mma for you. I agree he is one of the best with out a doubt I would love to see a Takanori "The Fireball Kid" Gomi versus hughes it wont happen but I would pay good money for that..

im back at karate and cause i done swimming on my time away my flexibility is only slightly reduced so i can still crank out some top notch kicks, pretty happy about that.

Keep on kicking... I'm joining a new school next week, boxing and grappling. My Muay Thai/BJJ instructor left my old school, so I had to relocate.

wow that sucks but is pretty kool all at the same time.

The term "MMA" is a misnomer. The only styles they ever use are kick boxing with some grappling. When was the last time you saw tiger style kung fu, boxing or sumo wrestling on UFC or PRIDE? That's why I think they should stop saying mixed martial arts.

If you ever get a chance to see The Quest starring Jean Claude Van Damme, do it. Now that's REAL mixed martial arts fighting.
