Yeah, I didn't bother to get infinite Rocket Launcher myself. I use infinite T-hawk magnum though instead of the handcannon (that's the S&W M500 right?) because of the better firing range.

T-hawk? You mean the Lightning Hawk/L. Hawk?

I picked the M500 because of the 5000 firepower cap, pretty much. I can sacrifice a little distance for that much damage per shot.

I'll probably complete my L. Hawk for AI Sheva, though. She can use the extra range since she's a perfect shot.

Oops. Yeah, I meant the L-Hawk.

I see what ya mean about the 5000 power thing, but 3000 with the L-Hawk is nothing to scoff at either. Still gets the job done pretty well.

And that last part sounds like a good idea. Much better than an infinite pistol on Sheva anyway. lol I already have both an infinite L-Hawk and handcannon, so I may try that sometime.

Me too. Like I said, I apparently overestimated how hard Professional would be for the most part, but the end of 5-3 on pro was still a royal pain in the ass.

Still can't get over the Jill acting like Catwoman thing with the way she runs up walls, hisses at you, and has that cat-like stance when you get close to her (not to mention how tiny she is when playing as her in the battle suit on mercenaries). Then there's that thing with Wesker's hair that you pointed out. 😛 I really do wonder where he gets his gell, as his hair always stays in the same place/shape, even after he's fused with the Uroboros, and when he's burning in lava...

Speaking of which, I still laugh at the time when we beat 6-3 together for the first time. After Chris and Sheva grabbed onto the ladder of the helicopter, I just assumed it was over and put my controller down to sit back and watch the cut-scene, but when Wesker suddenly started pulling onto the helicopter, I wasn't able to press LT and RT together for that quick-time event until it was too late. Then I facepalmed. Funny how something like that has to happen right at the very end of the game. 😂
Nice sig by the way. 👆

Haha yeah it's funny to watch how tiny she is and how she hardly runs when playing as the battlesuit version in Merc's. When I first played 5-3 and she started hissing I was all wtf is going on with her...I guess that device doesn't just improve her physical skills it also makes her think she's a cat. 😛

Yeah his hair must have industrial strength or something, look when he gets injected and starts grabbing his head he can't even grab his hair it just stays their in one single place.....all the time 😛

The end was pretty funny too, that was the first and only time I died their haha. 😛 Oh and yeah 5-3's end is the hardest part of Pro mode.

Oh and thanks!

Psh, infinite rocket launchers are cheap.

He had the Gatling Gun and I had an infinite Handcannon.

But....but I have the infinite Rocket launcher, it's fun to use! But yeah on a serious note yeah it is a very cheap weapon just like it was in previous games.

So I just bought the game yesterday and I have to say I'm pretty dissapointed. I've always heard awesome things about all of the RE games, especially 4 so I figured I'd go out and buy this one.

The game looks gorgeous but thats just about its only strong point. What about gameplay??? You do the same thing over and over and over again. Run away from zombie, turn around, headshot, repeat. I've only gotten up to the chainsaw boss (which was a royal pain in the ass) so I'm not going to lose all hope yet... but damn

As opposed to the overwhelming amount of variation in games you like?

Resident Evil 5, in my opinion, is excellent.

It's only the second game like it, 4 being the other one, and it's actually quite different.

There are lots of dazzling and inventive set-pieces in this game, way more than were in 4.

Not to say 4 is a lesser, nor better, game. 5 is different, but still awesome.

Yeah. I changed my mind about not having infinite Rocket Launchers yesterday and ended up getting it anyway, and I have to agree there. It's as cheap as it is fun. Even helped a couple random people on professional by joining their game so I could put it to good use. hoho

I'm not saying its a bad game at all, but with all the hype that was built up it just seems like a huge dissapointment. Although like I did mention before the machine gun/giant boss was pretty awesome.

But seriously why do you like the gameplay so much?? It just seems really repetitive to me. just curious

and to respond to your first statement I own mario kart, tony hawk, sean white snowboarding, banjo kazooie gears, halo, geometry wars, gta, mario ds, wow, command and conquer 3, world of goo etc. so yeah i'd say thats a pretty big variation 😉

All games are repetitive.

Uroboros tops the G-Virus as my favorite viral agent in RE.

I could say, literally and with more credible points, the same about Halo.

Resident Evil 5 was hyped by its fans, it didn't have a multi-million dollar marketing campaign, bus banners, building billboards.

You got interested and you didn't like it.

When you're this far in with a series, you're making it more for the fans than anyone else.

Yeah this game and the CGI film Degeneration are just for fans, the story revolves around everything that's happened in previous games, when going into RES 5 you are expected to know the history's of previous games.

Degeneration sucked.

What diden't you like about it?

Thought the animation was crap. And just about everything else.

Fair enough, I didn't like how Leon was portrayed, seems pretty weird to see him so vibrant for a better lack of term in the games and then being so blank in the film.

Agreed, visually it looked like the whole thing was based on the same engine as Dead rising, just more advanced.

As a whole, they were pretty lazy with the movie and the only relevant thing between the new game and the movie was, well, Tricell. Yeah, haven't played through this sweet game yet.

I thought the beginning in the airport was kinda neat.

Then after that I got bored and stayed that way.

Got to man, it's fantastic.

Yeah the first 15 minutes are the best.

Epic. I gotta try this combo sometime. They should've had an achievement for it, if anything.

YouTube video

I got all of the BSAA Emblems! Now, I just have to get all of the figurines and max out all my weapons for some more trophies.

The last emblem,

Spoiler:
found on the radar tower of the ship
was hard as hell to get. I had to look online for help.

RE5 doesn't have that RE4 magic but I'll give it a 9/10.

Wouldn't it be awesome if more of the classic RE monsters made an appearence, encountering the Plagas and there would be one hell of a massacre?
