I only played with a few peeps..

Lars is really cool.. and I love Leo's fighting style

Miguel fights very unexpected and I like it.. not sure if I'm going to main him..

Zafinas fighting style is just really pretty to look at.. and bob.. wow.. I didnt expect him to move like that at all

I found the bosconovich hoe to be quite retarded.. chainsaws flyin out her arms, jetpacking everywhere during a grab.. my eyes couldnt roll hard enough..

but so far so good.. gonna play with more people soon...

also.. love azazels chamber music

I love/hate the song on that stage with the sheep in it that looks like something out of a "Ricola" commercial. It sounds like a mix in between techno/pop and yoddling. lol.

It just sounds sooo out of place in the game that it's funny, yet i can't stop thinking about it. And for some reason can't find that stage in the game anymore.. And i almost always want to play on that stage cause of the song. But not because i like it but because it's just bizzare sound. I mean i guess it's melodic and had a musical flow to it but i've never heard a song in video games that was as unsettling and semi-addicting as this song. I always make fun of it when i hear it.

i dunno

It's wierd it's like have you ever wanted to watch that one movie you knew sucked but still wanted to watch it or still watched it some freaky reason..

maybe it's just me but that's how i feel about that song.

Yoshimitsu vs Lars
YouTube video

Ive only seen one of the stages personally (I've only done practice)
but that stage you're talking about is the 2nd stage in the vid.. very interesting indeed..

also.. a great match

lol @ comic intro where Heihachi tosses Kazuya down the pit, Kazuya doing it years later then Heihachi doing it on him again. Sequence is priceless. 😆

And wtf? FAT BOB dodging bullets in the intro? HAHAH
AHA!!!

It's a shame how he's such a bad-ass in game (even looks a little badass with his P2 costume imo), and yet he's a walking douche. Namco ****** him up. The guy shoulda been Kazuya's rival >__>.

Does his Burning Death Fist still do 100 points of damage? I haven't got the home console version yet.

I just wish the sheep didn't move like they did >__>. They look like plastic toy sheep when hit.

Imo, Kazuya is phuckin' cool in this game, I'm currently tryin' to beat this badboy wit erbody so that I can get a feel for T6's story. It's pretty damn fun tryin' to play wit everyone. I must say tho, I'm kinda scared of this whole item use sh!t. I'm not too happy wit that sh!t from what I seen, I think it's a destraction of what Tekken is really about and that's bare knuckle brawlin'.

Alos, Lars is so badass...I knew he was gonna be.

it looked like it did half a life bar.. I might double check later

lol...

Spoiler:
Lars is Heihachi's son, Kazuya's half brother, and Jin's uncle. No wonder he pwned so much in the campagin opening movie.

Sounds about right. How many points are in one bar? It was ~150 in T5. Should be at least 200 in T6 as they said they increased.

Though does it do as much damage as Jin's Avenger, Wang's unblockable and Law's Charge Punch?

that's it.

with the matterhorn in the background and everything. that's gotta be switzerland probably.

"yadla-yadla, yodlo-yodlo, yo do do, he-he."

lol

i don't think the stage is selectable though. i think it has to be randomely chosen by the game.

Awesome game, just got it.

really liking Miguel

Not a fan of yodeling? I take more notice of the way the sheep move when hit. Most the other stage BGM's are done pretty well though.

I find neither the sheep or the yodeling to be annoying.... it really takes quite a bit for cultural things to annoy me.. I think this one track of traditional korean wind instrument music I had during my presentation in japanese class in highschool was just.. oh god.. like the worst sound ever.. it was just an atrocious cacophony of putrescence

it was kinda like this, even though this is nowhere near annoying for me (and I rather like it), but it was along these lines

so according to fighters generation, the presentation of Tekken6 is not as good as that of SF4. LOL is that guy a dousche!
hysterical

The dude at fighters generation/tekken fighters generation is a huge Tekken fanboi. I don't even go to his site for anything other than Tekken, cuz he sux at tellin' folks 'bout any other fighter. I'm not gonna go into the whole T6 VS SFIV argument cuz it's pretty damn stupid but I will agree that T5 did have better presentation but that's my opinion. Still T6 is better.

Tekken 6 is cool but as of late there's just something about the game that just doesn't excite me as i think it should. Or as the other fighters do.

I dunno if it's just me but am i the only one that thinks that Tekken 6 has just a generic feel to it (compared to other fighters) It's definetely not as theatric or as flashy as the other (current) fighters. (gameplay-wise)

Don't get me wrong, i think Tekken 6, for the most part, is a solid fighter, save for it having some of the most cheapest characters in fighting game history, but there's just something amost plain about it. Like it offers nothing new. There should have been a new element or two added. Something unique or innovative. i dunno. And the graphics aren't that spectacular. They look like ps2.5 graphics. Soul Calibur 4's graphics (and soundtrack) completely blow Tekken 6's graphics (and sound) out of the water and far away.

Or maybe i just over-expected to much. But I mean, were talking Tekken here.

the enjoyment you get from it is really the technicality of everything..

tekken 6's graphic I believe are like 2 years old almost.. but the motion blur more than helps out everything IMO.. as for 'new' elements, I think the instant roll back / forward when knocked down wasnt there in previous games (it was only the instant rise in place).. I also noticed that I was able to low-parry with several different characters (which I did by accident on all occasions)

I think if you fought someone your level or higher (you mentioned you kinda steamroll your friends and stuff, if I remember correctly), you would probably get more enjoyment discovering new ways to use moves and combos..

you're on PSN or Live?

I been trying to download miguel replays on Live to see if I can get any inspiration.. but so far it seems kinda grim.. one replay , both players were seriously spamming 2 hit punch combos back and forth the entire first round >_> (and this was like from the 'top 10' list.. I think the replay was in the 50's rankings)

as for the presentation.. I think they did well considering its mostly an arcade port with network play, (and lets not forget the fairly large scenario mode).. whereas capcom worked on the console version with the intent of making it more special than the arcade release

they're both about equal on presentation terms, I'd like to think..

what namco and snk need to learn is how to do proper net-code, like in SFIV and BlazBlue

^ Tech rolls (getting up quickly) were there in T4 I think. They were certainly there in 5.
