I also noticed that I was able to low-parry with several different characters (which I did by accident on all occasions)
I think if you fought someone your level or higher (you mentioned you kinda steamroll your friends and stuff, if I remember correctly), you would probably get more enjoyment discovering new ways to use moves and combos..
you're on PSN or Live?
I been trying to download miguel replays on Live to see if I can get any inspiration.. but so far it seems kinda grim.. one replay , both players were seriously spamming 2 hit punch combos back and forth the entire first round >_> (and this was like from the 'top 10' list.. I think the replay was in the 50's rankings)
as for the presentation.. I think they did well considering its mostly an arcade port with network play, (and lets not forget the fairly large scenario mode).. whereas capcom worked on the console version with the intent of making it more special than the arcade release
they're both about equal on presentation terms, I'd like to think..
what namco and snk need to learn is how to do proper net-code, like in SFIV and BlazBlue
i've been playing with some really competitive people and there are 2 dudes that've been giving me a really hard time cause one has a ground game (which is all he has, i think) - basically without it i'd pulverize him- and the other one always stays away or comes in for a scary quick attack or two and moves (far) away. I still get that regular feeling. The only good fun i really get outta Tekken is whenever the matches come down to the wire. a oppose to having the constant enjoyment i get from other fighters.
i don't dislike tekken 6, i just think it should been tweaked and updated for 2009 instead of porting the identical 2007 game. And i hear this is the waterdown version? And what's net-code?
And i'm on live.
