Yeah, but the usage of a gun is easier and easily lethal....kind a like cheating in a computer game....it just makes killing someone so ridiculously much easier...

And WD is right, to stop crime you dont get rid of the tool, you get rid of the cause. And truthfully, urban ghettos are at least 3/4 of where all the crime is. In some of them, if you are a human being and you walk into the neighborhood, you'll get shot. It's that simple. And it's because of poverty. They want money and they will kill you to get it.

Usually you need to "double tap" (shoot twice) with a handgun to ensure death. Unless you're using a larger gun like a .357 or a Smith and Wesson .500. But a well placed knife wound can kill in one stab.

I do agree with WD. And most Americans are law abiding with the laws, of course you get that occasional angry wife, but hey maybe her husband deserved it.......getting beat up all the time......It's for protection ya know...and yes, sometimes kids accidentally get hold of a gun......That's the parents stupidity. But most crimes are from illegal gotten guns. And they will always be able to get them.......always...Just like drugs......If people want the drugs, they'll find a why to get them.

I don't know, I don't have any sticks...don't need a weapon....we are safe in Germany....partly because there are no guns.

The way I see it, if banning guns becomes an issue then we should ban our military. That way no one will have to worry about getting blasted on. But wait... who's going to give up their military power first? Oh, darn... no one.
