No, the federal taxes I paid were such a small amount that I now owe the IRS. I have no idea why the feds just didn't deduct more from my paychecks, but too late now.
I don't even have a job right now. I'm gonna have to borrow money from my parents to pay the IRS.

I don't get financial aid, my parents make too much but since my mom is a heart transplant patient (copays build up like mad) they don't have the thousands of dollars to shell out, so had to take out a loan.

Shouldn't college students get some reprieve or something? I have a GPA of 3.5, I work hard and I dare say that America's future is bound up a lot in the people that get higher education.

It's because our economy is in shambles and and has been for a better part of 30 years, thanks to fiscal and monetary mismanagement by both the Republicans and the Democrats, and even more, the FED. And this shit spreads to other countries who invest in our products and our dollar.
