Wow, I barely qualify for one of those requirements. Guess I'm not really that emo after all.

We've already established your predisposition for dishonesty, so...

* If they wear black more than any other color
* If they listen to heavy metal/alternative music religiously
* If they have ever self harmed or considered it
* If they consider Heath Ledger the or one of the greatest actors ever
* If Batman's cool because he's so dark and grim
* If they shop at Hot Topic

* I don't wear black more than any other colour. I prefer purples, grey, blues and whites.
* I hate heavy metal. I like Classical much more, though I really don't listen to much music.
* Self harm is for cowards.
* I think that TDK is one of the greatest performances of all time, but Ledger never wow'ed me in other roles.
* I like Batman becuase he's badass. I find his brooding a little gay.
* I've never been to Hot Topic in my life.

So nyeh!

Emo people are okay in small doses, though. LIKE COCAINE!

I'm trying to understand this one...

Once you can my son, you will truly be enlightened.

Albert Camus believed suicide was the most important question to be addressed by philosophy. He believed that self-harm was the result of an inability to accept the universe is absurd.

What's the sudden obsession with 'emo'?

Liking Batman is emo? Wearing black is emo? Heavy Metal is emo??? 🤨

It's most certainly a favorable one for Lucas.

Your subjective and incorrect opinion on the matter.

While that may be true for his other movies, it's not true here. He's adapting a previously written and constructed works to a visual medium; his ideas and innovations, if present at all, are trivial. Which is to say that he's no better or worse than Tim Burton.

There is no may about it, friend.

^ Agreed.

Repoted. I will personally see to it that the administrators have your account removed if you misrepresent me ever again.

Yeah, I can say cool things about Lucas too, so we're really at an impasse here.

But the scale of cool is totally out of whack. You can at best say minorly cool things about George whereas I can say majorly cool things about Chris. Such as how he redefined the way a story can be told with Memento or how he was the first to ever match the theme of a story into its very format with The Prestige.

S,

I preface this by saying that I love you like I love Ashleysomething very dear to me, and I appreciate how relatively calm you were in this rebuttal, but I think we've reached a point where we're (and by that I mean you) are too set in yourour ways to reach an objective conclusion to this subject.

To me (and I'd be happy to go through and explain in vivid detail why), it seems as though the Joker and Nolan and Batman are simply going to get a free pass from you no matter what, which is tantamount to a waste of our time.

Thank you for the discussion, my apprentice.

Alrighty.

Anyone who can accept the insanity of the universe is cool in my books.

Wrong. But I'll excuse your ignorance/prejudices on the matter.

Heavy Metal has been around for much longer than emo. The number of heavy metal fans far exceeds that of emo kids. Emo whiners aren't defined by music. But if you want to be picky, they have their own genre called 'emo'.

You're getting very... emotional on the subject... 😖hifty:

Seriously though Gideon, explain Sidious's move at: 1:00 (watch the first 3 minutes for the whole point.)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdQwKPVGQsY&feature=related

This seriously hurts his credibility, because he makes a VERY good point.

also, I love 2:20 so much.

and finally, this at 4:15

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOlG4T1S2lU&feature=related

that is absolutely UNEXPLAINABLE. worst point of star wars ever.

My battle stationspeakers are not yet fully operational on this computer. Which part is it? The one in which RLM complains why Gunrary doesn't tattle on Sidious?

Why did Sidious tell them to kill the jedi, who are the ones he needs to carry word of the invasion to the senate, so if they die, no-one carries word of it to the senate, he can't initiate a vote of no confidence, and become chancellor. He should have told them to tell the jedi they were invading and send them back. And what if the Queen, a 14 yr old btw, caved in and signed the treaty, legitimising the invasion? No vote then either.

And how did the shield generator get hit through the shields?

You're right, I'll add this to my newest poem called "sorrows in the grey land of pain". I also have my weekly cutting to do, my wounds have almost healed so it's about time. I wish I could still see properly though, I lack depth sight. That doesn't stop me from getting my tight girl jeans at Hot Topic or from putting on my mascara though.

Where was I... oh yes, I'M NOT EMO!!!!1!1!!1 *goes crying in the darkest corner*

EDIT: Yes, RedLetterMedia neatly exposes a lot of the PT's flaws.

I'm pretty certain it was because he was afraid the Jedi would sense that there was something else at play than a mere trade dispute (which they did).

See? As long as you're honest about it, there's no problem.
