Coward, you say? And how do you call a guy desperately trying to start a fight he can't lose? There is no character in the SW movies that can content with HP mages. End of story.

In general it's absolutely stupid to argue "movie only" for the Star Wars universe because 99 % of the feats, especially the powerful ones, happen outside of the movies. In Sidious case, you have some telekinesis and force lightning in the movies, where he takes apart entire fleets of starships and tears the fabric of space-time apart in his incarnation in the expanded universe.

So no wonder, that nobody wants to argue in your spite thread. Give me a call when you want to discuss the topic with the Star Wars Expanded Universe counting. Then I will put you in your place. 😉

First off I have no idea who you even are and secondly this addressedanother poster who believed Sidious could win. I didn't just demand he debate with me he himself initially expressed interest in the battlezone. Then I wouldn't have said anything further until he attacked my intelligence so once again whoever you are know the facts before you put your foot into your mouth. K.

I don't care if you think Sidious from the movies has no chance others do. Your lack of faith is your own problem not mine. Movie vs. movie is fair as can be.

This is completely true, but it's fun to argue a debate that you know you have no chance of winning. Reminds me of Theoden from ROTK movie:

Gamling: Too few have come. We cannot defeat the armies of Mordor.
Theoden: No. We cannot. But we will meet them in battle nonetheless.

So I take it you aren't interested. Oh well.

Read the quote again. Theoden states that there is no victory possible, but that he will still fight anyway.

So I'll accept. Though don't expect much of an argument.

Ah crap. I just sent you a pm I'd like to discuss this a little further then. If you don't fully believe in Sidious I'd be prepared to do an alternate battlezone where you'd represent yoda against my sidious based off the movies alone if you're more comfortable with that.

It's very important to me to have someone believe in their position.

Don't worry about my beliefs. You argue for Voldemort. I argue my side with what I can interpret from the movies.

Okay, in four minutes or less, Why (movie)Mace Defeats (movie)Voldemort.

Voldemort = Snake

Mace = tired of these everloving snakes on this everloving plane

By the transitive property of snakes:

Mace = tired of Voldemort
Possible caveats: This argument is valid if and only if the fight takes place on some kind of aircraft.

When you say don't expect much of an argument I don't even want to argue and would rather argue something else you have more confidence in. That's why I gave you the alternative of Sidious(myself) vs. Yoda.

I'd be happy arguing for Sidious against the guy(yoda) who stalemated him.

That to me is an awesome debate with my personal greatest sith vs. my personal greatest jedi. That could go either way so it's a great debate to have as well.

This debate is already lame as fvck and it hasn't even started yet.

There hasn't been a debate yet. I'm guessing though when the debate does begin you'll be eagerly anticipating myself to go down in flames, amirite ?

Forget what I said then, if that bothers you. I don't want to argue Sidious vs. Yoda because that's been argued so many times it's just not worth it in my opinion. I agreed to your Voldemort vs. Star Wars idea, so that's what we'll be debating. Cool?

Ok, cool. Do you have msn or any other messenger so we can discuss the specifics I'd rather do in that way then go back and forth through pms.

Ok, I just recently got back into star wars again and really have never set foot in there in my four years here but I can imagine.

So how's life? I feel like I haven't had nearly enough pictures of rainbow horses in insane asylums in my life and I BLAME YOU!!!

Well we must rectify that then.

No insane asylums I'm afraid, just badassery.

The new Planet of the Apes movie was REALLY good.

We boss human

Claire is easily my least favourite character in Heroes. In season 1 shes one of my favs but since then she has been functonally retarded and just makes bad decision after bad decision and acts like a petulant *****. She's never right and Noah is always doing right by her and she just slaps him for it.

Grrrrrr.

Heroes Season 1 was amazing. Season 2 was going to be good but that lockout ruined it. Then everything went downhill. There were too many people with special powers and the powers became increasingly stupid. If they stuck with the original cast, and added maybe a few characters, then it would have lasted.

Mohinder and Hatian were my favorites.

@Quanchi

Do you not like the Star Wars EU, or just have lack of knowledge of it and choose not to debate it, or something else?
