Not likely, considering that Dragonball is to date the best sold manga, with over 125 million complete sets sold world wide.
It was also among the manga/animes that started the hype outside Japan.
I dobut its going to fade away as fast as you think.
Looking upon the nature problems and so forth I doubt even most of the human opulation will even survive another 50 years.

True but it will eventually fade as a flagship anime and just become a well remebered classic.

Based off what? The worst case predictions for 100 years time only include flooding in low lying areas. That's not likely to kill humanity.
actualy the Red sun has an opposite effect on supes it depowers him rather then powering him up so thats 3 and I suppose psionics might be a 4th after a limited fashion. He's highly resistant to any forms of mind control or manipulation. However, one super villain (or anti-hero depending on how you look at his character and when in the story line you read about him), Manchester black, was able to use his psionic gifts to telekinetically pinch off a blood vessel in Superman's brain, simulating a stroke, and incapacitated him for a while.
besides if superman can withstand a blast from darksides OE (Omega Effect)
Darkseid's main power is the Omega Effect, a form of energy that he fires from his eyes. It is not only a relentless attack, but it is also capable of teleporting the target to any location Darkseid chooses and recall them later or erase the target from the universe and similarly reform them. Darkseid has pinpoint control over his Omega Beams, and his unerring aim allows it to travel in straight lines or bend, twist, or curve around corners. The Omega Effect can apparently pass through matter and energy. In the third part of the Hunter/Prey storyline, he claimed that no being had yet withstood the full force of the Omega Effect, but Doomsday nonetheless survived the attack. Both Superman and the Cyborg Superman have also withstood a blast from the Omega Beams, but with severe pain and damage as a result. The full might of the Omega Effect has even had some effect on the Spectre himself. Darkseid's third son Grayven uses a weaker version of the Omega Effect.
then a little ki attack wont do much to him not only that but his strength is unmatched by goku as proven by this quote
Also, in the Infinite Crisis comic series, Superman (Kal-el) fought with an interdivisional version of himself (Kal-L). The both of them realized that they had to let loose with everything they had in order to prevail against the other, which they did. The blows that they inflicted on each other (not actually hitting the planet surface directly) met with such force that the shockwaves they produced not only tore the planet they were fighting on/near to shreds (in fact, I think they may have atomized it by the end, I can't quite remember), but actually created tears through time and space, causing events from both Supermen’s past and the future to manifest before other hero/villain groups throughout the galaxy. I tried to find some scans of this fight - I've seen them before - but I don’t have time at the moment to keep looking.
