Here is a weak vegeta in the cell saga shoots a beam http://youtube.com/watch?v=pMkzyOzUQ8c&search=final%20flash , Take note how fast it goes into space, how big it was , and stated that it would of blew up the earth easy but Vegeta shot it off the side so it only hits cell and not blow up the earth.

Which is a plot hole, as it moved very slowly on Earth...

Watch the episode gotenks clearly states it was 36 times.
Edit😮h,I get it you counted the golden streaks they showed....😂
During the eight seconds, nine streaks are shown. If he did it 36 times, then it was outside of the eight seconds shown.
I just noticed something about that scene. Earth was rotating as he circled it, meaning that Gotenks actually took a lot longer than was shown. In other words, nowhere near Superman's speed.

That attack took HOW long to come out? Take that kind of time against a pissed off Supes and your as good as KO'd.Damn that DBZ art sucks.
Exactly. Any powerful attack that could possibly even scratch Superman would take quite a long time to power up. Heck, Superman could fly to the sun and back, and Goku would still be powering up.
Originally posted by AvalonofthewindThat is vegeta after getting beat up alot by cell, an experimental move (His new move) that he never done before...Sigh it doesn't take that long later in the episodes, it goes insant 😐 in the Manga it shoots on the next panel, you can't time the shoit from live video to a shot of supes in the comic which umm isn't moving.

It's a show 😐 Go count how long it takes supes to do it..what a second ? Because comic book pages doesn't move for you to count it 😐
Look at Magin Buu blowing up the earth...now how long did that take him to throw it,...no time at all., Or Goku vs friza, there shots go quick....

Yes, I'm aware of it, and as you said, it's plot holes. The beams move really slow on Earth, yet they speed up when from a planetary view.
again.. only the low end PIS counts then.. superman can't dodge a batman punch nevermind a DBZ fighter...
Originally posted by The Unknownnope it'
Yes, it is teleportation. He doesn't have control of his movements while in IT, meaning that he couldn't move super fast and punch someone, like Superman can.

Dude, you haven't listed any high-end feats from DBZ.
you must have a comprehension problem...
Originally posted by The Unknownlike it does supes?
No, it's not. You said that the characters can move at SoL, yet whenever someone has to get somewhere on Earth during a life and death situation, it takes them the entire episode or more.
doomsday wars.. superman is frantically trying to get a baby to safety... dd takes him out using a damned jetfighter.. supes was going as fast as he could cause time was of the essence.. it wasn't SoL.. therfore supes can't go SoL.. see? it works both ways...
again.. when DBZ characters are slowed down, it's A PLOT HOLE for the SAKE OF THE STORY.. it's amazing how you can't grasp this concept when it applies to DBZ but when it applies to supes it's perfectly acceptable.....
Originally posted by The Unknownactually he was fine on kais planet.. it hindered his speed but he got there after running snake way TWICE and he was still moving faster, higher and better than kai had ever seen any new comer do... crappy example and wrong example... and STILL a better feat than the crane one.. goku still wins.... 😕
Goku could barely stand on 10X gravity on King Kai's planet. Superman wins.
Originally posted by NPCsuperman did that in the movies.. are you sure you wanna use movie supes for this debate? 😕
Ok, heres another one.
If DBZ characers are all faster than light, how do they EVER get hit by energy beams? lol
The whole basis of this arguement is, is superman faster than all DBZ/GT characters. Ok superman has gone so fast he went back in time. Has any DBZ/GT character ever gone back in time without a time machine? Answer no, superman is faster, period.
and again.. energy beams are FASTER than the speed of light.. the energy attacks ued by DBZ fighters are an extension of their own will and power, the beams move as fast as the fighters using them... 😬
Originally posted by The Unknownnine times while using less than a 3rd of his real power.. and having enough time to take a nap while he was doing as he later tells piccolo... well within supe's capacity... ESPECIALLY since it was 36 times.. 😕
That's nine times in around eight seconds, nowhere near Superman's speed.
Originally posted by The Unknownfirst off.. he was going faster than you give credit for.. he was going so fast he lapped his streak before it disspeared behind him like a jet stream.. the rotating earth argument is contradicted by the fact that gotenks' transformation has a fairly short time limit for what amount of time would have passed if the spinning earth were valid AND contradicted by the fact that DBZ fighters' energy refuse evaporates almost immidiately after the character takes off.. gotenks kept lapping his.. speaking of lapping you have no idea how many times he lapped over the same streak before going off on another.. but he lapped the world 36 times in under 8 seconds and had time for a nap while he was doing it.. that's what was stated and that's what happened.
