Are these idiots in here really saying that Goku in GT can't destroy a planet? GT is garbage and full or more loopholes than db and dbz combined and it is not truly cannon. Even still Vegeta had enough power to destroy planets EASILY before he even came to earth. Piccolo blew up the moon when his power level was below 2,000. By the end of DBZ they are in the hundreds of millions at least. I seriously hate how the loopholes and bullshit in DBZ gives these crazed Superman fans the only hope they have that he can beat dbz powerhouses. Goku is both physically stronger and more durable than Superman and that is without factoring in energy blasts. They dodge light speed energy blasts, and faster, Buu and Broly destroyed whole galaxies. I don't care to argue about this hugely over done topic anymore maybe 3-4 years ago but it is just a complete waste of time now.
They probably have only seen the Funi dub.
Could be worse they could be basing their arguments of the UK movie dub. It's one of the worst dubs in history. The acting is appalling and names are changed for the hell of it. Because of this it's easily my favourite dub. It's work of comic genius.

Ahh so another fanboy enters the ring armed with nothing but an over inflated idea of Goku's power. We've been using GT because some of the numskulls arguing for Goku have been mouthing off about how SS4 Goku could easily beat Superman.
I find it Ironic you complain about us using non canon sources then you bring Broly up who's place in the canon is even more dubious than GT
We've already covered the also rather non canon destruction of galaxies by Buu. It was done over time on a planet by planet basis.
Can you name a feat of strength that shows Goku is stronger than Superman? Or something he survived that Superman couldn't. If you can you'll have done something no DBZ fan has ever done. Ever.
Has anyone noticed that our side has been persistently demonstrating canon evidence to support our points, while the DBZ supporters' entire arguments consist of nothing but:
- Referencing non - canon material (like the movies, GT, and anime fillers)
- Unsupported claims (Goku is faster than Superman, Kamehameha is more powerful than heat vision)
- Just plain making stuff up (Goku can destroy a planet by powering up, Goku was omnipotent when he merged with the dragonballs, light can go from earth to Saturn in 4 minutes, etc.)
Well Gokou did shake up the planet a lot when going to SSJ3 against Buu for the first time. And Gotenks did go around the world like what 8 times at ssj....though it took like 30 minutes. And Gohan has made a whole building quake by stomping his foot impatiently. And Gokou lifted 40 tons easily at SSJ. And...and....yea I'm out of stuff I can think of that they've actually did without blasts. And I think most of that was actually in the anime not the manga.

Dude, seriously did you actually watched the show? Are you sure you didn't watch Tenchi Muyo or something? In the episodes DVampire put up we see SS4 Goku having endless trouble with heat and cold based enemies.

But you must admit that your own personal opinion and likes and dislikes of characters largely decides where you stand in a vs thread? You dont go by feats but rather who you like better then you try to defend your opinion but fail to do so because logic and on panel feats trump your opinion, even though you will never accept this and oh yea... GOKU CAN NOT BLOW UP THE SUN AND EVEN IF HE COULD IT WOULDN'T TO SHIT TO SUPERMAN. Goku would how ever die.
