If you actually bothered to read the thread instead of just blindly accepting the rants of your forum friend then you'd see that what im talking about is strongly supported on panel and most of my points are explicitly stated on panel in a multitude of sources. ✅
My opposition has been arguing against me not with on panel evidence which specifically shows my argument to not be the case, but with personal opinion and outdated and therefore irrelevant scans. 😮

What i find funny is people i havent had debates with for months (or in some cases not at all) suddenly coming out of the woodwork and jumping all over a debate thinking that strength in numbers is gonna take me down. Not happening. 🙂

The only thing you seem to like about people disagreeing with you is that it gives you an opportunity to Essay Attack! them. You seem to perceive some kind of meaningful superiority from "winning" and "spanking" people. Which seems rather sad.
Sort of like someone winning a pie-eating contest and feeling like King of the world.
Why would people need to take you down when there's nothing to take down. You've formed an opinion on where the Phoenix stands... you've made your position abundantly, abundantly, abundantly clear via the Essay Attack! People've read it and digested it, they may agree with you on parts, and on others they may not. I don't see why that isn't enough to make you content.
Again: It's a comic book versus forum. 😐

Disagreements come part and parcel with forums. Debating with likeminded people and discussing issues youre interested in is what makes forums fun and i wouldnt have it any other way. If everyone had the same opinion then this place would be very boring.
People disagree with my interpretation of Phoenix and yet as my interpretation is so well supported on panel noone has been able to put up a credible counter-argument to necessitate a rethinking on my part.
Some people accept this and yet there are some who have such a high opinion of themselves that they take this debating way too seriously, too personally. Such people never try and argue against me individually but whenever a situation arises which initially looks like my position on the issue can be disproved (as it does every few months at the hands of some newly registered member) they will come out of the woodwork and pledge their support and try to paint me as a fanboy en masse. 🙄

Exactly. There is nothing to take down. I am on no pedestal. I however have a strongly supported interpretation and as such i will stick by it. There are some sad, egotistical people out there who see this as a position they would very much like to change and so with any and every oppurtunity, be it a new poster or a new comic book that they can interpret in a way to suit there goal they hop on the bandwagon. ❌
