You used to have such good taste in movies.Back in those good old days when you used to bash them all the time.Whatever happened to your good taste you had back then, its dissapeared?Back then, you could see them for what they were,crap..You have been misinformed though, most people dont like them.It amazes me how people who love them like to think that because they love them, that most people do.and for the people that love them, dont use that old lame excuse to try and back it up with box office results. The star wars phantom menace movie is one of the top 10 movie money makers of all time and most star wars fans dont like that movie.

Just one big flaw with your little theorey there, most of the Spider-Man fans do like the Spidey movies.

Money talks, and so do the fans 😉

Well, i can say that doc ock is a great villain for spidey. But something didnt work and didnt make sense at all. Spiderman is supposed to be super strength, lifting 10 tons. Doc Ock is just a normal guy with tentacles. Any superstrenght. So, how on hell spidey hited ock so many times in the movie and didnt beat him? Doesnt make any sense.

that was something in the movie that I never thought about that didnt bother me Bakerboy.Because if you ask THAT question, then you got to say that the comics never made any sense either because that happened all the time in the comics as well where he went punch doc several times in the face and it did not faze him.So the movie was being faithful in that respect. You got to ask yourself why IN THE COMICS Doc never got hurt by spideys punches if you bring that point up. 😉

Well, if i remember well, in the comics, when spidey clearly hit doc ock with his punches, the battle is finisthed. in amazing spider-man number 3, in the last battle between spidey and ock, spidey manages to punch ock clearly in the jaw, and ock was k.o.

I mean, usually, in the battles between spidey and ock in the comics, normally ock manages to protect himself from spidey's punches with his tentacles. When spidey manages to get a good punch on ock, ock is k.o.

That might have happened in some of the fights but I am pretty sure ock was knocked out in every fight when spidey hit him in the face.

Yeah, thats is my point. In the comics, when spidey hit ock clearly in the face, ock is knocked out. In the movie, he heats clearly in the face several times, in the cathedral scene and in the water scene. And ock is still fine. What is most amazing is that in the water, spidey is punching him in the face with everything of him, with all his strenght, because the city is in danger and the woman who loves him is in danger too, but doc ock isnt knocked out. Maybe ock got some kind of superstrenght or durance with the tentacles?

I made a mistake in this post Bakerboy.I meant to say that I am pretty sure that Doc Ock WASNT knocked out everytime when spidey would hit him in the face in every fight in every issue of the comics when he fought him. but yeah for movie purposes, they should have explained it to the audience that because of his tentacles he had endurance and super strength if thats what it was.but these movies do a horrible job of explaining anything though.

Ok, mr parker. You are right. By the way, the movie sucked pretty bad. No as bad as the first one , but still sucked.

Also, i dont believe that this guy called white rat is mr parker. Mr parker is always honest with his opinions, and he doesnt need to post under another nickname to post his points of view. Also, that guy is clearly an impersonator who stealed the nickname that mr parker is using in another forum and he is doing a bad impersonator style about mr parker past posts. See how he always uses things that mr parker posted in the past. It would be stupid that mr parker would use a new nickname only for post the exactly same things that he posted in the past.

Yeah it wasnt near as bad as the first one but it was still pretty bad.Yeah I hardly need another nickname to post my point of views.I never did it at that other forum where when I used to post there all the time,I was about the only one there that didnt like the movies, that almost every poster there did liked them.If i didnt do it there,I sure as heck wouldnt do it here where there are quite a few who DONT like them. 🙄 and yeah he has done a poor job of impersonatimg me because all he ever does is post thing I posted in the past.I would hardly want to use a nickname to post the exact same thoughts if I WAS going to do something like that. 🙄

btw bakerboy,if you havent yet,put in your vote for the official poll thread.

Yeah, i will put my vote there.

btw bakerboy,i havent seen you talk about superman returns.have you seen it yet? I havent.wanted to this weekend but an emergency came up so I will see it next weekend.

No.

Sorry if that bothers you. But I like the Spider-Man movies. Like most people.

the thing thats funny about your post is in the past-when you had good taste in you used to bash these man-spider movies all the time, you would tell people who liked them that they didnt know what they were talking about when they would say that statement.NOW that you changed your mind, that you like them, you are saying that most people like them. 😆 very objective you are. 🙄

Ah superman returns, very much like the Hulk, great action scenes everything eles is pretty boring, except the early Clark scenes they are quite funny...but it was mainly boring not only that but its like 3 hours long, and cinema seats arent comftable...lol the trailers were good though "happy feet" I'm not sure what it was but 5 minuits of a dancing penguin was certainly entertaining.

You know, I really have to agree with the thread starter, aka, bakerboy. The movie basically sucked. They completely made Spider-Man into something else. The didn't even use the same tech as Spider-Man *cough* Organics *cough*

Anyhow, I am NOT a fan of the Spider-Man films and probably never will be.

I see it two weeks ago. And i was dissapointed witht the movie. I was almost a copycat of the first superman, only some new adds and character. Brandon Routh was good, but he was doing a chris reeve impersonator. Kate Wosworth was a decent lois, but not as good as i thought. Kevin Spacey was an strange lex luthor, a little bit darker character than in the first movie, but again a funny guy style . Luthor plan was stupid , and the action scenes were very good.

In general, an ok movie, better than the man spider movies, but surely worse than superman, superman 2 or batman begins. It was too much like the first one, brian singer wasnt any original . For me a 6/2 or a 7 from 10.

would you say better than the burton batman films as well?

Didn't spider-man get organics with his recent "upgrade" in the comics?

Surely, better than the horrible tim burton films about batman.

original or unoriginal people would complain either way. "Oh superman returns was trying to be too similar as the originals. Brandon Routh is a copycat."

if supes returns was completely in singer's own ideal image

"wtf, what singer did to superman is like what rattner did to xmen. why is nicholas cage playing superman and why is his costume grey with no cape?"

you know what i mean?
