It is important to separate the spiritual and physical realms and understand them to understand that afterlife (no matter where it is spent) will be seemingly physical while separated from it. It is too difficult and abstract to explain here or even properly with words. It is a concept that needs to be understood through study and rational. Much like the curvature in the space time continuum.

It is important to understand that you have no evidence whatsoever of afterlife perios, let alone how it will be spent. You cant even vocalize it. You can rationalize things all you want, it still does not make them rational.

These are some exceedingly absolute, explicit, and narrow words.

But it gets even more narrow, and I quote the words of the Master

John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am THE way, THE truth, and THE life. NO ONE comes to the Father except THROUGH ME .

I am left almost speechless.

If Jesus is THE Way, THE Truth, and THE Life then what does that imply, intimate, or suggest about all the other folk down through the centuries claiming that THEY are the way to God? Why didn't the Lord Jesus just say, "Now, I do not wish to step on any toes, rub anyone the wrong way, or ruffle anyone's feathers so, I am just going to say that I am one of the many ways to God, take your pick?" Wouldn't this have been more politcally correct? I mean after all isn't it just plain common decency as well as good policy to respect everyone else's belief system? Well, Jesus knew what He was about to say before He said it. He knew that people would immediately accuse Him of being a bigot, intolerant, narrow-minded, arrogant individual.

But you know what? Jesus STILL said it.

This is where I derive my style as it were. I get my direct, no frills, straight-to-the point approach from Jesus. Jesus didn't have time to dance around the issue of how to get to His Father. If anyone OUGHT to know how to get to their Father it makes sense that it would be someone who is at least close to the Father. Jesus is God's Son, it doesn't get any closer than Jesus. Jesus was THERE in the beginning (before time existed); Jesus was THERE with God the Father. Jesus pre-existed every single religious figure who has ever lived.

John 1:1-2
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.

The "Word" was Jesus' pre-incarnate designation or name, before He took upon Himself human flesh. In another place Jesus identifies Himself as "I AM." This Name denotes His eternal, self-existence.

Now, not trying to be a rabble-rouser but New Age Movement devotees, adherents of Wicca Muhammed, Joseph Smith, L. Ron Hubbard, Charles Taze Russell, Buddah, Confucius, satanists, and other founders of religious cults were not there in the beginning with God. So tell me, how can anyone one of them truthfully tell anyone how to get to God?

I heard someone say this: Jesus was either a lunatic, a charlatan, or everything that He affirmed to be. If Jesus was insane then disregard anything that He has ever said. If Jesus was a phony then ignore His words. But...if Jesus was (or is) Who He said that He was (or is) then BELIEVE Him and commit your life to Him. What do you have to lose? Why take a chance of dying in your sins without Christ in your heart? I don't know about ya'll but I am not about to risk my eternal destiny on for no one. Call me dumb, narrow-minded, intolerant, unflexible, unyielding, deluded or any other term you can think of. It ain't going to change my decision in the least. I got all my eggs in ONE basket. I am willing to trust that Jesus is the TRUE, and ONLY way to God. Hey, nobody else made the kind of claims that Jesus made and continued to back them up with signs and other miracles.

There are some things that God wants/expects us to accept by faith (e.g., salvation only through Jesus Christ). I am not saying that God wants you to check your brain at the door as it were and never use it to rationalize, deduce, infer, and just plain old think. Perhaps that is the impression that I left you with. God is not a man (i.e., human being). We (myself included) should constantly remind ourselves of this fact. God does not think (i.e., rationalize or apply logic to various situations) the way that we do. God is rational and sensible but He (or His mind trancends the human mind infinitely). We cannot perceive reality the way that God does unless He permits us to. There are no limits on His intelligence, no constraints, barriers, or boundaries. God is the true, consummate out-of-the-box Thinker (in every sense of the word). But we are not. We see things from certain vantage points at times but still our thinking is very limited. God sees the end at the beginning. In fact, God forsees every possible ramification, effect, result, and consequence for every situation before He makes a decision. We do not have that kind of capacity. That is why we make mistakes. God never makes a mistake. How can God make a mistake when He sees or has knowledge about a situation before He acts? But see WE THINK (there goes our brilliant minds again, thinking that we somehow know something that God does not) that if God commands something of His creation and we do the complete opposite, that God was somehow in the dark about that. God knows what will happen 1000 years from now, and He is able to describe it in accurate detail.

Im pretty impressed with you Jesusisalive on how to prove the truth of religion. You do it better than me thats wut i know. Im still learning my catholic religion so itll take me time. till now, nice work jesusisalive and in god we trust 🙂

You've never met your god. You make thing sup about him in an attempt to irrationaly rationalize your belief in him. You don't know anythign about your god. You're told. You suck up lies and intellectual traps without any caution to whats going on. YOu never stop to analyze the sistuation or to question what you're told.

You babble on about fictional events that you have no way of knowing about. Its like beliving in Atlantis. You say it snot propoganda, but the only text stating what you think is correct is the Torah/Bible OT. Thats a pretty one sided spin.

I think this is a serous flaw and I point it out.

I have every right to bash religion. This is not a "lets praise religion forum" and just because I'm atheist doesn't mean my views arent welcome. I know your saying what you believe, but that doesnt mean its correct. (I'm not sayin I am correct either, but I can certainly back up my position more than religious people can)

People like JIA run around brandishing propognada all the time. If you read, I specifically attacked that type of person...the type of person who runs around bashing me and my view on things all the time.

I have no problem with people who are religoius...but I have a problem with people with certain types of religious philosophies...expecially those like JIA who run around throwing fire and blood.
