Yeh I totally agree with you. Its because his love story is mirroring what happened to Davy Jones..I have a feeling he's going to cut his heart out at the loss of Elizabeth(and Maybe his father)..as Tia was telling them all about what happened to Davy the scene heavily focuses on Will and his reaction to what she is saying about how a woman can cause someone to do that..the music is strangly overshadowing and sinister.

Davy Jones' cut his heart out because his Fiance became un controlable and left him..Pretty much what Elizabeth's character doing too.

Will always seems to be the second best man, he cant live up to Jack and now even Liz, Will Isn't a very good pirate He's pretty much become the third wheel..and we all know how those characters usually turn out..They usually do something really bad just to gain a bit of recognition.

^^ I agree......Tia did emphasis on a dark destiny for Will....

okay okay, i know i am overruled but i still dont think "destiny" necessarily means "dark destiny"...

i agree, did tia even say dark destiny? i don't think so..i think for now it just means that he has a huge important role, that he is going to do something or have to do something that will affect everyone.

Yeh it didnt say dark destiny but it seemed to imply it by the way the music was so sinister as she said it..and how it was almost as if Davy's story was overshadowing Will in that scene, It was heavily focused on Will.

i forget what interview it was but there was an interview where the director said how in the 3rd movie we are going to find out how Davey Jones' love story is like Will/Elizabeth's.

it does, as does elizabeth to davey jones' love methinks. wasn't the description of her "as wild and untamable as the sea"? that seems to fit elizabeth well..

Yeh it seriously reminded me of Anikin from Star Wars..and how certain scenes seemed to show that his Destiny overshadowed him even earlier on in the story....and this scene in particular reminds me of one from Star Wars where that happens to anikin.

true, it does remind me of starwars as well. i wonder if they will go for the starwars effect, and have will turn evil. its possible.

but then again, i dont know if they will end the movies with will evil..

Its would be like OMG WILL? the same Will who I thought was the easiest and safest character just totally crossed over and did something really dramatic! It would be one massive shocker to the audience..

Will seems to have this deceiving aura around him that suggests he's always going to be the good guy, the one who See's sense (we all know no one is perfect)...and if Disney really did make him out to do something really drastic it would be one heck of a twist.

They have already sort have done that with Liz's character..they completely made the twist revolve around her in the latest one. She changed from good girl to pirate.

In the first one the twist revolved around Jack..He helped them out and he was supposed to be a pirate.

I really doubt he is going to cut his heart out....

Well lets see..no one knows yet..Disney seem to be enjoying shocking people with each film though..they seem to be breaking more moulds with each film so far.
