Jack and lizzie

Dear Lovely One - you seem to have the same outlook on Liz and Jack as I do. I really enjoy reading your blogs - it gives me new insight to some thoughts.

I am so glad to have someone else mention the scene involving Norrington and Lizzie - after the persuade me scene. That's another clue to the pairing of Liz and Jack. Why wound Disney bother to have Norrington notice the attraction - and he also rolls his eyes at her when she gets mad on the beach because the compass has once again pointed to Jack and Norrington, I believe, knows this - he knows that she has a thing for Jack.

As for Jack betraying Will - hey when there is sexual tension, lust, ect. between him and Liz as strong as it is - it just over takes him - he can't help but kiss her back. She has admired Jack and been wanting him since he rescued her from the botton of the ocean in Pirates 1 -she just hasn't realized it till now. She's been in denial cuz she's suppose to love Will. She's loved Will all her life- so these feelings she has for Jack are unexpected - and she's a little angry with herself for it.

I do agree - he is smiling when she chains him up - because he realizes she has "come over to his side" like he tells her during the curiosity conversation. He calls her Pirate. I don't know about anyone else, but for me, Captain Jack never looked sexier and more manly than he does in these last scenes - when he shoots the gun, when his back is too her and he is surveying the ship just before the kiss and of course when she kisses him and when he smiles at her and whipers "Pirate." And of course when he faces the Krakin! What a man. I love Jack Sparrow. I agree, how could Lizzie ever go back to boring old Will after having taste Jack Sparrow. No way.

YES!! you are a SOOOO SOOOOO SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO right..you speak so much sense. I'm glad you have the same view..Its good to see it. 🙂

Its like she had a taste of an amazing life and then she goes back to will..makes no sense..and in my opinion it will be one of the biggest mistakes in cinema history if they actually do that.

yea if she goes back to will ppl wont go to see the 3rd movie like 10 times. they will just see it once.

true! but i mite go see it alot anyway. but yea it has to have some jack/liz moments

YEAH!! the Liz/Jack concept has drawn so many people back to see the film like 10 times..everyone I speak to say they have been back to see it so many times. They didnt get that with the 1st.

haha i keep going back to see it cus of the liz/jack moments in this movie<3 hehe

yea, b/c it was new and ppl didnt know what to expect...but with the second one....you know the characters and u can get more into the movie

I know I've only seen it twice. I must admit I never saw Pirates 1 on the big screen - so I was determined to see Pirates 2. I'd love to go see it everyday - and I can honestly say it's mainly because of the storyline development between Liz and Jack. Disney will blow this one if they put MS. Swann back with William Turner. She can't go back. I sure hope Pirates 3 has some sexual tension and juicy moments like Pirates 2 - or it will fail in comparison.

That or Jack gets Elizabeth; and then gets rid of her like every other woman he had.

no that wont happen, cause then no one will like jack...and u cant have everyone hating jack....

yea u cant have ppl hating jack....... i love loving jack

loving jack is something that comes naturally to a girl. u cant have that be takin away

yes but without hate no love and that's why yeh hate to love because you love to love but what actually do you love, that's the big question? 😑

Agreed........seems to come with every JD character......but especially Jack.....well.....because he's a pirate

doubt that very much..you cant have the audience hating Jack..I think its going to be Will everyone is going to end up disliking. He has too much of a deceiving good aura about him..

And Jack didn't exactly dump every woman in his life..He came back for Liz (yes I reckon the compass pointed to her, Jack would have gone back anyway without looking at the compass) he saved her life..that whole scene symbolized that he came back and rescued her and her most of all..otherwise ther wouldnt have been that moment between the two where she clang to his leg like he was her hero....He also hasn't dumped Tia..he still respects her.

Besides characters are supposed to develop in stories..we already see Will's and Liz's and even Jack has changed since the 1st story..So He is learning new things about himself and what he feels for people...a character cant just stay the same throughout a story..otherwise there wouldn't BE a story.

Every director of a bad film KNOWS they got ridiculed because they didn't develop their characters properly..I doubt that Disney would risk keeping captain Jack sparrow stuck like he was in movie 1. He has already changed in the second one..there were a few uncharacteristic moments involving him in this movie..which means his character is developing whether you like it or not.

Not saying he is going to become a completely different man..I'm saying that what he thinks most important in one movie he wont thin in the next other wise there would be no story or plot development..his priorities change as time progresses.

Its common sense..😂
