When will finds liz on the beach Liz runs to him but doesnt kiss him..HE's the one who leans in to kiss her...and her whole manner in that scene made it look as if she was pulling away from him..leaning backwards. He's in control
When she kisses Jack..SHE is the one who is in controll..she's the one who is kissing him and pushing him backwards..
Just something I found interesting
Will's kiss with her was rather dull and lifeless..yet Jack's you could see how much passion she had for him.

and also the last scene..its like she's proud of Jack for being good and then she feels as if she has to make him proud of her too by acting like a pirate..He does look proud of her in that scene when he says pirate..amongst all the other messages being flown about there too 😂
Its also like she wasnt satisfied with him being good after all 😂 She's like...THATS NOT WHAT I REALLY WANT!
there is SO much going on in all of these Jack/Liz moment scenes..
actually that second suggestion would make sense to the rest of the story more than the first...all her lies about wanting to do the right thing and supporting honor dies away and its like "DAMN IT! I DONT REALLY WANT THAT FROM YOU! I GOTTA HAVE YOU NOWWWWWWWW"
yeh I know..🙂 It just proves more that she was in denial throughout the move in the scenes where she is like "You're going to want to do the right thing"
She also wanted to kiss him too..she didnt get it the first time so she was like "THATS IT IM GETTIN IT NOW"..It wasnt all about doing the bad thing.
This movie was ESB, for the pirates series.
Luke Skywalker? Check. (will turner, with a missing dad to boot.)
Princess Leah? Check. (elizabeth, becoming much more independant.)
Han Solo? Check.
(Obviously Captain Jack, who develops more of a relationship with the heroine, goes from rouge to hero, and is even "stuck in carbonite" at the end of the picture, and his friends need to go off and rescue him.)
Vader? Check. (davy Jones)
Emporer? Check. (the official who took over, forgot his name, that wants the compass.)
R2 and 3PO? Check. (the fat pirate, and the one with the wooden eyeball.)
Darker story which develops the characters, deepens the romance, introduces a father thought dead for the Luke character, and ends unresolved?
CHECK. 😄

Will Turner and Elizabeth are brother and sister.
Dear Lovely One and everyone - I just got back from seeing Pirates, yet again. I, too, picked up on some more interesting things. I didn't notice the part where she backs away from Will on the beach, I'll have to notice next time. Did any of ya'll notice the booted man lying on the bed when they show the monkey after Tia Dalma lets it out of the cage? Today was the first time I noticed that - Barboorsa was already there! Okay another analysis on the last scene - which has been stated before. After the kiss and Elizabeth walks away - notice the way Jack is staring and smiling at her - if you could read his thoughts it might be "oh yes, I have won. She has come over to my side. Ironic, just when I decided to do the right thing" Kinda like a gift of the magi deal - you give up what you prize most to please the one you love and vice versa. Or like in Grease when Danny gets a letter sweater for Sandy, and she shows up in black leather for Danny! Funny. And I loved the way Jack faces the beast. Earlier he was such a coward - but I think he's newly discovered desire for Elizabeth and his realization that she wants him too gives him the courage to face the beast. It's like he's saying :"come on beast - i'll fight to the ends of the earth (world) to kill you so that I can return and finish my conquering of Elizabeth's heart." Also, at the end of the movie, at Tia's place, notice how Will is studying Elizabeth. He's the one who asks her "Elizabeth, what would you do?" (to bring Jack back) It's kind of odd - and this makes Will look better - but it's almost as if he realizes how much Liz loves Jack and because he loves Liz he wants her to have what makes her happy. What do ya'll think?
um as far as the spoiler goes, i dont think so. different fathers and all. plus, that would be way too much of a story-line steal. hehehe. it would be funny, but i dont think so.
About Will: i think he is still being Mr. good guy, and looking at Jack as a scamp in many ways, and he's thinking, okay Liz is obviously attractede to this guy, but is Jack going to see this through? In Will's mind, probably not. So he might be feeling bad because he wants her to be happy, but he cant see Jack making any serious committment. However, he doesnt know Jack as well as Liz, or see who Jack is becoming...
I just read an interview with Johnny and he was talking about how in this film, Jack is focused on a very unique desire... he's got a new thought in his head and he is going after something he doesn't know how to get.... Now, that could be the heart, but in the interview, it actually sounded like a person....🙂
What about the part in the longboat at the end? Will demands "Where's Jack?" she replies "He elected to stay behind to give us a chance." Gibbs and others all look up at the Black Pearl like OMG Jack is staying on the Pearl. Will looks a little suspicious. Lizzie is starting to get more and more upset about her decision, so that's why she hollars "Let's go" so she doesn't change her mind. She is battling with right and wrong.
She has definite hero worship for Jack. I love the hanging on the leg as he shoots the gun, the way she is always smiling goo-goo eye at him, the way she flirts with him, how whenever they are in a scene together she can hardly take her eyes off him. Course I can't take my eyes off of him either. No matter what scene Jack is in, it's so hard to notice anything else going on. He is like a magnet. He, Jack Sparrow, effects everyone's life around him. Like Gibbs says, "What bodes ill for Jack Sparrow, bodes ill for us all." Look how many lives have been turned upside down since Jack sailed into Port Royal in Pirates 1. What a carismatic character. I'm not sure I've seen any movie or have known of any character that has been so dominate. He may go down as the greatest all-time character in movie history.
And on another note. I'm sure we all know this. But Jack Sparrow would not be who he is if not for Johnny Depp. The producers and director have said time and time again that they have let Johnny interpret the character. Jack Sparrow is really Johnny's creation - he has taken him to a level the writers never even imagined. Boy, did they strike gold when they casts Johnny in this role.....and so did we....

Liz's mom, who we've never seen, may have run off and had a fling with 'ol Bootstrap.
Would explain why she's always been into pirates, and why (just like Will Turner) she seems destined to defy authorities and act like one.
As for a story-line steal, I wasn't kidding before.
They pretty much ripped the formula from Empire Strikes Back and put it into this film.
I've seen other discussions on it where they even picked out people to be Lando and Chewie.

I agree..I kinda think that Will is an anikin figure too. He has a dark destiny becuase he is mirroring Davy Jones's tragic love story. Tia the voodoo lady(yoda? LOL) seems to know what Will is mimicing Davy Jones.
