Really? I received an answer to your hypocrisy with regard to UNSC Resolutions? An issue you yourself brought into this thread? ]

I specifically mentioned one resolution in regards to how hezbollah was supposed to be disarmed previously, which didn't happen. The rest of the UN rules I don't really care about at this point in this particular conflict. Had the original rules been taken care of we wouldn't be hear discussing this today now would we?

UN rules are only as good as those who follow them and Hezbollah NEVER follows them. Hence Israel had to take considerate action to prevent Hezbollah from further incursions into Israel with missiles bombs and infantry. They chose to save Israelite citizens over following a set of one sided rules which in essence protected Hezbollah and hurt Israel. No hypocrisy here my friend, just a plain view of whats going on.

This is all a messy situation. Heres what i know, can someone fill in the holes..

After the second world war the winners didn´t know what to do with the Jews, didn´t want them on thier soil because they didn´t like them either. So they put them on someone elses land, British Palastine. The Jews with the help of the US took over this land and created a prison called the west bank.

Now the Jews with thier "were gods people so we can do what we want " attitude believe that Palastine is thier promised land and belongs to them. The Palastinians believe its there land because they were born, brought up and lived there all there lives.

Now the Palastinians and other Arab muslim folk arn´t happy with the current situation so they use what means they have, Terrorism or Freedom fighting (depending on your point of view). They cant go into an open war with isreal because Isreal is helped and armed by the USA which has huge rich Jewish influence.

Now Isreal is bombing the hell out of a country because a bunch of fighters captured two isreali soldiers in order to exchange them for some captured Isalmic fighters. Now the Hisbollah is also sending rockets into Isreal as retaliation.

Either this was planned by the Islamic forces and they have something up thier sleave or they are just idiotically doing random daft things to rattle the Isrealis cage, and getting thier own country blown into the middle ages.

Everytime someone mentions that Israel is supported by the strong Jewish Americans influences it puzzles me. Strangely enough this same people claim the US is a nation govern by strong Christian fundamentals....is that how the world thinks? We're both Jewish and Christians at the same time? Wow!

Well, Christianity was originally just judaism with a little extra added on. (The good news as it were)

International Law is a myth started by the pencil pushers at the UN. Its only as good as those who follow it... and yet hardly anyone really follows it.

Well, yeah. That's kind of how I see it. Jesus was a Jew after all.

But for me it's the reality of politics and less religion. America has, since it was created, displayed an almost fanatical loyalty to the state of Israel. Meanwhile, our support for other middle eastern nations wavers depending on how we can manipulate them to suit our, or Israels, needs. Our support of Israel has been consistent, our fundamentalist fanatacism has not.

Are you really just that blind or do you just feel the need to be so cynical you need to pursue the "possiblity's," let me guess you must be a scientist, huh? Absolutely there is a possibility and should that possiblity be greater then say (I'm making up numbers here) 50% it might be in Israel's best interests to take action against that target. No one with half a brain needs IDF intelligence to tell you an airport used by civillians MIGHT be used by military units.

By "rules" I'm assuming you mean UNSC Resolutions. By original I'm assuming you're calling 1559 passed in 2004 as the "original" resolution. Which is laughable. The Resolutions Israel is in violation of date back to the 60s. Hypocrisy.

Hey I never said Israel was a saint nor that Israel never broke International laws. What I am saying is that if the UN Resolutions meant so much then today we wouldn't have this discussion now would we, Hezbollah would have been disarmed, huh.

Israel is a nation-state with a standing army, airforce and navy. You're comparing what is acceptable action for a nation's army to a terrorist militant group. "They break international law so we can too" is the mentality of a child.

What you enjoy spouting here is that Israel is a nation-state with a standing army and blah blah blah with the Hezbollah. Now the Hezbollah are a faction of the entire govt. They may not represent the entire country but they are a part of the govt, they also have a standing army. The fact they are a recognized terrorist group is second to the fact that they are a part of the Lebanese govt with a standing army that NEVER follows UN laws nor Lebanese rules.

So you keep saying don't attack Lebanon, sure the Hezbollah are bad but but but Israel you're a "real" country and you should know better. If Israel's plans don't fit you're rules, tough, if Israel's military plan doesn't suite your sense of right and wrong then oh well. You can go to sleep easy tonight in Germany knowing no one is bombing your country.

The Hezbollah don't recognize your precious "international law" so to them they aren't breaking it, so once again that "law" isn't serving anyone's needs or even bettering most situations, is it?
