Lot of misconceptions here about how both the free market and classic economics work. Working hard is not necessarily a magic path to super wealth. It also requires luck and the willingness to take risk. Economically speaking, work and its fruits are only worth what the market pays for it. However, that said, hard persistent work is a path out of despair and eternal dependence on the government. So in that sense, all hard work is wealth creating.

But any way, I have to take umbrage at your working implication that liberals are more open-minded than conservatives. Having gone through a graduate level humanities curriculum at a major university as a conservative, I can assure you that liberals are generally just as close-minded and thin-skinned as any foul tempered Republican you've encountered. You can add self-righteous as well. Try attending a graduate level seminar in literature and espouse a non-Marxist, feminist viewpoint. See what happens. Lots of open-mindedness right?

In my experience, liberals, like most human beings, are completely hostile to anything that doesn't immediately confirm their own preconceptions and worldview.

The funny thing is you have not actually countered ANY of my points. Instead you attempt to question the Validity of my arguments, when they come from reliable sources, not just university....

And if you are Conservative, then don't you dare tell me to stretch my brain, because Conservatives are the people who want everyone to think one way, to do everything the same way, towards the same goal, and lacks respect for individuality and actual equality.

Not to mention Conservatives are NOTORIOUS for forcing thier views on other people.
