The special properties of cap's shield-one being vibranium stops kinetic impact-theoreticly cap can jump off a building and land on his shield and take no damage,it is why he can block heavy hitters without getting knocked across the country

Yes, Steve's far more skilled fighter. But I don't see him withstanding shots from Morlun or Hulk... he could do it, partly dodging blows only... If Cap fights Spidey like he did to Loki, showing his full potential (shield bashes combined with regular attacks at incredible speed and strength), he has a chance. However Peter defeated Firelord >_< It'd be a good fight anyways... how much do u give to Cap? I can tell some of you guys don't know how to fight. Just because someone is stronger and faster it does not always give him the W. Cap negates Spidey's advantages with stuff that can't be measured like skill and heart. Why do you think that and old Bernard Hopkins can go up in weight and soundly beat a quicker and stronger Micheal Tarver. Don't even mention the fact that Tarver is a lefty. Cap beats him soundly, get over it.

Right...lol. Spiderman even gave superman a pounding once, (If the fight went any longer he would have got owned, but he got in a few good hits) I'm still going with spidey.
