Wouldn't Jesus be a clone of Mary... I mean without male genetic material it would just be the genetic material of Mary growing into a child. And since people can't decide if God has a body or not then he isn't supplying the genetic material, simply the soul.
Much like Adam and Eve.... by rights Eve would be genetically identical to Adam is grown from his rib.
Is God capable of sex? Most certainly, if he is to be omnipotent. However, why would God need or want to have sex when he is all love anyway? He doesn't need children, he has them and he is above Human list and need for pleasure.
But he can get angry and jealous and all the rest... but above lust and pleasure? And besides love and sexual gratification are to different things. Just because God is "love" does not mean that sex might no be relevant. After all few human relationships survive without physical expression of love, or just for pleasure.
There is a reason many ancient religions and cults might have had a carnal component to their faith.

No, the birth of Christ was a miracle. Remember that the is nothing God cannot do, therefore he can if he so wishes create a child in a womb with out the need for sexual interaction. I think Jesus was, "ready made" Chromosomes and all. Mary probably had next to no involvement in the genealogical makeup of Christ.
