Back at the ship and later at the evening. The whole crew, except Lizzie and Jack, sat there, having fun, enjoying that there was no one at the moment who wanted to harm them.
Will: Where’s Jack?
Norri, who was for a short time on the air, comes in.
Norri: I’ve not seen him on deck.
Jacky: Hm, Liz went to bed early in the afternoon, I don’t think that he’ll be with her.
Suddenly she realises what he has done last time. She jumps up and rushes into Liz cabin, the whole crew, now realized it likewise, follows her.
Liz just waken up because of the noise.
Liz: What’s wrong?
Jacky: Jack’s not here...oh bugger!
Liz: Why should he be here?
Will: No time for that...
everyone runs down the stairs, followed now by Liz.
Jack lies there between some barrels, Will and Gibbs look at each other.
Will: Not again!
But suddenly Jack wakes up.
Gibbs: Dear, Mother of God...we just thought about....last time.
Liz: (wondering) What was last time?
There is an insufferable silence. No one wants to say something.
Liz: What?!
Jacky: Well...last time...he drunk too much so he passed out, but that was nothing...he was still not breathing.
Liz now feels somehow guilty.
Everyone now goes back to have another round of rum.
Liz walks over to Jack, who still sat there on the floor!
Liz: Why have you done that?
Jack: Why? ...Don’t know.
Liz: You do...our should I first persuade you?
Jack: Luv, if you ask it that way. Of course.
Liz: Very well (pulls out her sword and holds it under his chin)
Jack: Well...It was because ...of you....I was....so angry about myself...that I’ve hurt you so much!
Liz lowers the sword, glances at him, and then went back on the deck. In trouble with her brain and her feelings.
Liz went back to sleep. What the crew did as well. It was a very fresh night. Jacky was standing at the helm staring into the distance. She thought about Norri and her. She was sure he was a good man, but there would be always a bit of distrust. He wanted to settle to have a good position. He goes on the adventures but in fact he wants to settle, she knew it. Yes, she loved him...but he doesn’t make her feel alive...like Lizzie always described about Jack. But she could not, in fact, break him his heart. Liz has done it before and she has taken an oath not to break him his again. But if she didn’t love him for true?
Abi went outside to get some fresh air, the air down in the cabins was awful. She saw Jacky standing there on the helm with her face heavily lined.
Abi: (touches Jacky) Jacky, what troubles you?
Jacky: Nothing!
Abi: That’s not true, I can see it.
Jacky: I can’t tell you, dearie!
Abi: It has to do with my father, hasn’t it?
Jacky glances at her. How could she know?
Abi: Well...you’re always arguing at the last months.
Jacky: ...I don’t know...I have changed....he has changed...there was so much that happened and there will be so much more happen and I just don’t know if we both will stand this together. I mean, in fact, he wants a home, a good position, in the end he hates it always to be on a ship. But it’s my destiny, as it’s Jack. We both need our freedom ...but I don’t want to break his heart.
Abi: But you should tell him that. Always having trouble is not good either.

Well, Abi walks back down in the direction of the cabins. He was pushed aside by someone, which she soon spots as her Alex.
Abi: What your doing here?
Alex: I felt alone, but I didn’t want to interrupt your talk with Jacky.
He pushes her against the cabin wall and starts to kiss her intensive.
Abi: So, when shall me marry? I mean my father has given us the permission to marry and we should do it before he turns around. (she whispers in his ear) and I want my wedding night soon.
Alex: Fine, we could do it whenever you want. But I hope it’ll be going better then with Jack and Lizzie.
Abi: It depends on you.
Alex: On me?
Abi: Yes, I’ll never betray you....for that I love you too much.
Now she kisses him but is interrupted by someones cleaning of the throat. It’s Norri who wants to walk on deck.
Norri: Daughter...I think it’s time enough to go to bed and ALONE!
Abi: Yes, Daddy!
Abi kisses Alex once again and goes back to her cabin.
Norri: (to Alex) If you’ll ever hurt her, I swear, I’ll kill you!
