well becket kidnapped jack in the begining and liz traded herself for him and grant saved liz from the ship and they all met again in tortuga where it was revealed that jack had cheated on liz and liz left and becket is trying to find jack to kill him and now they're all back together and becket is still on their tail....bit complicated really?
