after her talk with jacky, liz cant get to sleep, so she wanders around the ship, slowly making her way down to the party
jack catches sight of her in the middle of a loud chorus of the pirate song
jack: LIZZIE!!!!
liz: um, jack?
jack stumbles as he runs toward her, and liz catches him in an awkward sort of hug
liz: (guilty sounding) I think we need to get you upstairs
she takes the bottle of rum out of his hand
jack: (suddenly angry) WHAT DO YOU HAVE AGAINST MY BLOODY RUM?!?!?!
liz: jack, come on
jack: no
he sits on the floor and begins to pout, arms crossed with his lower lip turned out in a frown
liz: c’mon jack, you cant just sit there all night
jack: i am the captain of this ship, I can do whatever I want
liz: jack, you’re drunk, we need to get you back to your cabin
jack brightens a little
jack: and will you be going with me
liz sighs
liz: yes jack
jack smiles and hops up and tosses the bottle at Will
he tries to lift liz up, but is so drunk, they both fall in a heap on the floor
jacks smile widens
liz cant help it and grins
jack: lets go, shall we
they both walk out of the party, leaving everyone else in an amused silence below

abi and alex sit on the corner of his bedabi leans over and kisses him on the cheek, but he’s still very shaken
alex: I cant believe you’re alive(he’s so quite abi’s barely able to hear it)
abi: and you, you were supposed to be dead too………
alex smiles weakly: well, im not
abi: but, you don’t understand, it was like……
she trails off, but alex knows exactly what she means
alex whispers something, but abi cant hear what he says
abi: what?
alex: how soon do you think we could get married? I really don’t think I could stand to lose you again, and im just scared the longer we wait….
abi: I know what you mean
abi looks up as she gets an idea
abi: you know, jack is the captain of a ship………..
alex just stares at her
abi: he could perform the marriage
alex: what about the ceremony you’ve always wanted?
abi: I could give that up, I just want to be with you as soon as possiblesorry if you dont like it...but since no one else was posting, i got tired of waiting, ok, someone elses turn🙂
the morning after the party, abi wakes up and takes a walk up on deck to find jack staring out at the sea
he looks preoccupied, but thinks it might just be the best opportunity to talk to him about her wedding
abi joins him by the railing
abi: um, jack, can I talk to you
jack looks up, startled
jack: sure love
abi: me and alex were thinking, and we were just wondering……
jack: hmm? what is it
abi: well, just, you are the captain of this fine ship
jack grins, he knows where she’s going
jack: that I am
abi: well, we were just wondering if you could, er, say, perform the marriage for us?
jack stares off again for a while, and just as abi’s about to lose hope, he answers
jack: if I cant fix my own relationship, I might as well help yours…of course I will
abi: thanks jack!!!
she throws her arms around him, and catches liz watching them from jacks cabin window
jack: no problem, darling
abi hurries off to tell alex jacks answer, and jack turns around to find liz turning away from the window hurriedly, as if afraid of being caught
jack: (whispers to himself)you’ll come back to my side love, I know it
