But the point is, a lot of people do enjoy it and there is no reason the contest should be taken from them. The people that don't enjoy it aren't forced to watch.

We're just going to have to agree to disagree. You say that the fact people still enjoy is reason enough to keep it around, I say the declining level of talent, and competition is enough to end the suffering.

I went to the Hawks and Lakers game at Philips Monday. It was pretty tight

From what i saw there were more Laker fans there than Hawks fans. 😄

I remember in the begginning of the year Barkley predicted the Hawks to make the playoffs, and he was serious.

If the Lakers make a run, not necessarily win the division but get to maybe 54 wins then Kobe will get the MVP.

Well he will deserve it like last year but he may not get it because it is all politics.

Anybody see the Piston/Laker game, awesome game🙂 .....The Pistons are starting to return to there championship form, and are starting to pickup some momemtum. There defense is playing better each game, and Webber has sparked the offense.

Yea, I was actually disappointed it was a blowout, I was looking foward to this game all week, but anytime Detroit beats the Lakers awesome is the word I would use. 😮‍💨

Lol the Pistons have the Lakers numbers no doubt. With or without Shaq 🙁

We will get em next time, when we play them in June.

How'd you come up with that? We'd only ever meet the Pistons in the finals which i dont think we would get to this year anyway. I'll be happy with the 2nd round this year but if we are at full strength (that means Mihm returning as well as Kwame) we could make the conference finals.

If we play them in the playoffs it would have to be in the finals. Which would be getting pretty far.

I just want to say I disagree with everything Wade said about Dirk and the championship! They did indeed give the championship to the Heat.

I believe what TAZ meant was that if they can't beat the Pistons in the a regular season game, how are they going to make it deep into the playoffs?

I still disagree with that, but it makes more sense then how everybody else is taking the comments.
