he was too old.

Jordan average 20 ppg or more as a Wizard, That maybe far from Prime Joran, but its not exactly what anyone would call struggling either.

but the teams did.

I don't know about you, but I watched those games. Jordan wasn't the same. He looked overwhelmed and out of place most nights. Also if I remember correctly, he never had a 40 point night with the Wizards.

No, He dropped 40 points just after his 40th birthday, and he didn't look overwhelmed most nights, maybe frustrated because he didn't have the Bulls team he was accustomed to winning with, or even the Wizards team he envisioned having. When Jordan played for the Wizards noone expected the Jordan from the 90s to lead them to a championship, but that still doesnt change the fact that he contributed to that club significantly, and pretty much saved that franchise, and Kobe Bryant can score 42 on anyone at halftime if he wanted to.

He is a terrible singer, but he got the dance right and its a funny song.

Damn the Chinese government. Let Yi play! Let Yi play!

I don't even care about the Bucks, but it pisses me off that they won't let Yi do what he wants to do. He has stated that he just wants to play in the NBA, but the Chinese won't let him be a Buck.

Maybe its because Yi doesn't want to be a Buck.

No.

i dont want to see jordan play anymore. i want new players to emerge and take his place as the new best player in the nba. where would teh fun be if one player could keep playing no matter how old he was?

unless..

all the other players could keep playing too. all teh old greats on one big allstar team. scary.

steve francis to the rockets. possibly. not surprised, he spent time with them before.

Nobody wants Yi to be a Buck. He doesn't and neither do the Chinese.

He doesn't care where he plays(Well I'm sure he does, but he wouldn't demand a trade). It's the Chinese Government, not Yi.

Thats ****ed up, I remember something like this happening when Yao was coming into the league, but it was just talk, if they actually do cockblock Yi from the NBA it would be a shame.

I hate it when anybody whines "I refuse to play for (insert team)" if that team has the rights to them. Its worse when somebody who has never played in the league thinks they are too good for a team (Francis when drafted by the Griz). Then its even worse when its not even the player thats b!tching (Yi). The Chinese group in control of Yi just want to take advantage of Yi's marketability and they don't seem to care if they have to sacrifice Yi's dream of playing in the NBA to do it.

The funny thing, I would think Yi would have marketability anywhere he goes in my opinion.

But the fact of the matter is, the Bucks knew this before they drafted him. The Chinese government are also dumb in all this. Better question where will Yi go?

Players shouldn't be allowed to dictate where they go in the draft. I'm glad the Bucks drafted Yi despite the warning. I hope it all works out for them or David Stern finds a way to give those in charge the shaft for a long time. I'd like to see Stern threaten them back and claim that Yi either joins the Bucks or is not allowed into the NBA for the next 5 years or so. I know the Bucks wouldn't really like this, but for the good of the NBA I hope it happens so groups in charge of players don't try to pull crap like this again.
