theo would be nice... good inside presence. was'nt he a hawk a few seasons ago? i remember him playing for philly too... i could be wrong though. Przybilla would be sweet though, good potential in the lad. smasandian, can you remember that season where john wallace averaged i think it was about 24pts a game? how crazy is that. i mean john wallace.... wheres he gone? and one thing for next xmas......
dwight howard for toronto😄 (i wish)🙁 the guys gonna be sick.

I dont really remember him.
But I checked with NBA.com, and he had 14 points a game.

Well, we need alot of help. ALOT. But hopefully they keep Bosh, because if they dont, they're will be a mass exodus of Raptors fans. The team will be done. Too many times, an up and coming all star type player has left Toronto. Too many.

And the only player that I would want leaving is Aarjoro. Worst pick ever.

i thought it was more than that, but you're right. i know he had some good games, but i coulda sworn i read somewhere he led the raps in scoring... ah well. musta been some crappy uk basketball magazine. we do get the lower quality stuff, stuff that i havent bought for several years. araujo has been a major flop so far, unless he really starts to work in the summer and improve he doesnt have a future.

apparantly davis isnt returnign to toronto, seems like they do a buy out. which means we got nothing but cap space for jalen. its getting bad.

Interm GM has said he's coming to play. It would be stupid to not too. If Davis still thinks he can play and wants to play next year, he has to play in TO to showcase that he can still play. If he doesnt, nonbody will pick him up next year.

Rose was getting paid 15.7 million dollars this year, and next year its 16.9 million a year. He hasnt been playing like that the whole season, so in reality, losing Rose didnt mean much. Raptors arnt going anywhere this season, so losing a fading scoring threat that is worth way to much wont make them worst. As you said, its a pure cap space move, but they need that move. They had no money, and no money for a rebuilding team, kinda of sucks.
Also, the Raptors probably wouldnt get much for Rose anyways. He's not THAT good and they had to shop him somewhere.

Francis is close to being sent to Denver who would give Nene and Watson to a third team (Knicks, Sonics and Blazers are being mentioned). Blazers would only likely be involved if Knicks are as well so Knicks can try for Theo and Patterson.

antonio davis is now expexted to report to the team and is expected to play, i just cannot wait to see the fan reaction in the raptors next home game when antonio david goes on the floor as a new and former raptor. im guessing antonio davis is getting dizzy just looking at his toronto raptors jersey again. its gonna b really interesting to c how he comes out in his first home game.

jalen rose has 16 points and 11 assists in his first game as a knick!! every1 that leaves toronto starts playing good on their new team

He wasnt putting up alot of points because the Raptors werent playing him that much. That's why he wasnt putting up big numbers.
Also, for the type of money he is making, he is really inconsistent. One day, scoring alot of points, next game he's horrible.

Give him credit though, when he came to the Raptors, he was labelled as a distraction, but considering he was benched a few games last year, wasnt the starter and he actually showed up to Toronto, he has been the perfect team player. I give him loads of credit for that.

So, anybody else think NBA.com will have Dallas above Detroit in the power rankings tomorrow? Dallas has won 12 straight while Detroit has lost 2 straight and lost 3 of their last 5 and this time to Altanta, ouch. 70 appears to be slipping away now.

Also, anybody notice how the two people who have recently been mentioned as MVP candidates (Billups and Kobe) now are having their teams faulter? Lakers have dropped to 8th seed in the West (I'm guessing they need at least 6th for Kobe to actually receive MVP) while Billups was really only in the running because of how far ahead the Pistons were. Now, I'm waiting to see a ton of Dirk MVP talks now that Dallas, Spurs, and Pistons are all neck and neck again but Dirk being the only guy on any of the teams where credit can be really pin pointed.

I've read (unofficial) that Bosh, Rip, Big Ben, and Billups all made the all-star team while Kidd and Arenas have not. Jermaine still needs replaced though so Stern can still add them.

That was a painful loss by the Pistons, they have looked human in the last few games. I watched them play Philly last weekend and they just seemed in cruise control the whole game and just barely scraped by.
The Lakers got smoked by Dallas last night, which shouldnt be surprising since Mihm is out and Odom is playing injured (i gained alot of respect for Odom last night with the way he played through the pain). The sad thing was after getting blown out by 20 in the first half the Lakers actually game back and took the lead behind Brian Cook of all people, Kobe finally got some help. Then Kobe and Phil throw it all away by not getting the ball to the hot hand, this is one of Kobe's biggest faults (one that has always pissed me off) he trys to win it by himself even when he isnt shooting well. Phil's substitutions were mind boggling, Cook was on fire and he sits him for Walton. Walton comes in gets beat 3 consecutive times on defense and bricks a couple of jumpers and thats the ball game. I didnt expect to beat Dallas, but to lose after all the hard work to get back in the game really smarts.
As for the MVP race and bandwagon jumping, i guess thats the media for you. BSPN is hilarious for this, every week they change their minds. Im sure Dirk will come into the picture now that Dallas is rolling but will be quickly discarded once they cool off.

Yep. I'm still under the impression that Kobe has played most like an MVP but his team needs to get back to the pace they were at last month for him to actually have a chance of getting it. Otherwise, I'd say Dirk and Brand with Dirk edging out Brand because of the record difference.

Last night was a perfect time for Kobe to stick it to his critics, he could have had double digit assists, not been the top scorer on is team and got the W. The very definition of a team player, but he has such a hard time adjusting his mind set of being the hero (and in his defense the rest of the team hasnt been stepping up when needed lately). Cook could have gone for 30+pts if Kobe had just kept running the pick and pop with him. Sometimes Kobe is his own worst enemy.

a few years back when the lakers were winning championship, after championship, i stilll didnt like kobe...for some reason i just did not like him, but now i have a good reason not to. now im not saying i want people to agree with me on this even though many do, but kobe cares about himself and not his team which is the reason he wanted shaq to leave...so he could show every1 what a great player he is and be recognized more than his team and be seen as the team. and plz do not come back at me with, " he is the team, because no one else but him can do anything". well, i think that he does not care about giving his teammates more opportunities, i know lamar odom is not contributing the way he is expected to, but that is one of the reasons, he is not getting enough opportunities just like every other laker except kobe. i also know u will tell me that the lakers pass him the ball on every play, but what i think is his teammates at times are fed up with him demanding the ball and just dont care anymore. kobe acts he doesnt try to get in the record books every night infront of the media, but i know he is proud of himself every time he does whether his team wins or loses because that makes no difference to him.

yeah, but u gotta admit jalen was playing HORRIBLE in the first month of the season, which is a big reason for the raptors record for that month.

u wanna know what u call a team player?? someone who has a triple double against the heat, with 29 points, 13 boards, and 10 assists ( u know who im talking about) just wanna know...how many triple doubles has kobe ever had in his career??? because i dont remember ever hearing that kobe had a triple double against any team.

not sure exactly how many hes had, but i remember he posted two in a row a few years ago against the blazers and clips i think it was, i remember because he was the first laker since magic did it in 1991.

Im not sure where to start or if it is even worth typing so i'll try and make it brief.
1st, Kobe may have wanted Shaq to leave but the decision to trade Shaq was Jerry Buss's to make. I suggest you read "the Show" for a unbiased view of Shaq and Kobe's relationship by someone who was there. Not a sensationalised BSPN version which plays out like a bad daytime drama.
2nd, the Lakers starting line up consists of an undrafted PG, a pass first forward who is asked to be the #2 scorer and initiator of the offence, the most unskilled #1 draft pick of all time and a center who cant stay out of foul trouble but is improving. One stat they dont record on the box score (which im sure is the only thing you look at) is "would have been assists", Kobe would be averaging at least 5 more dimes if his teammates could hit wide open shots. I guess you havent seen Kwame miss more wide open lay ups than he had made this year, mainly from Kobe's passes.
3rd and finaly because ive wasted too much time already, Kobe is a shooter. He has questionable shot selection sometimes and that is his biggest failing. He is far from perfect but give him players that can finish on a regular basis and watch him pass more, he won 3 championships averaging more assists to Shaq than any other Laker. Also to question that Kobe cares more about breaking records than winning is ridiculous, there are few players in the league that play to win like Kobe even if he doesnt go about it the right way sometimes. I would take a player like that over a quitter like your boy Carter any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
By the way Kobe has had 14 triple doubles and a career high 15 assists, that shows how well you research before you type.

pistons lost to the hawks, the HAWKS!! blowup

All this talk here about Brand and Dirk getting the MVP?
What about Nash?
Playing just as well as last year, team is in 4th place, and 3 starters from last year, are not playing. (Arguement going against Nash last year)

(I'm not saying he should get or not, I'm bringing it out)
The other two still deserve it though.
