What about Nash?
Playing just as well as last year, team is in 4th place, and 3 starters from last year, are not playing. (Arguement going against Nash last year)(I'm not saying he should get or not, I'm bringing it out)
The other two still deserve it though.
I think Nash should be a candidate, but I don't think he deserves MVP again. I'd agree that Nash is playing better than last year. I still don't think he deserves it over the others (maybe Brand because of record). However, even with his team doing well, they are NOWHERE near where they were last year. They were 62-20 while this year 32-17 thus far. They did lose much of their starting line-up, but they were already deep and Marion, Barbosa, and Diaw have all vastly improved (although you may credit that to Nash or not) and they have added Kurt Thomas who helps a lot. After last year, this is where I expected the Suns to be even without Amare. Everybody else is acting all shocked but without Amare Suns are still a 50 win team.

It's a nice trade for Toronto. They HAVE to sign Bosh at all costs to keep any interest in the team. Its not like Rose is anything special, anyway.
I would hate to be a Knicks fan right know. Because of Isiah, they are going to be screwed for many years with overrated mediocre talent and no cap space what so ever.
He's like the GM version of George Bush.

Yeah, especially for that amount of money.
And they really need to sign Bosh, not because he is going to be one of the best players in the league but also, if they dont sign him and lose him, thats 4 all-star type draftee's they lost, and Raptors will start to lose interest and respect for the team.

Isiah is a terrible GM but in all fairness he did inherit a terrible squad. He already had Hardaway and Houston who had massive contracts and have been injured for years it seems. Like i say he has made some bonehead moves (Eddy Curry - cough) but the roster was already a mess before he took charge, he has just made it even worse.
I dont think you have anything to worry about wuTa, Dumars has done incredible work putting together the Pistons. If you think about it 4 out of the starting 5 are players that didnt work out on their previous teams but Dumars somehow knew that they would compliment each other. Add to that Prince who nobody would have expected to have the impact that he has, especially defensively and you have the best starting 5 in the league. Not because they are superstars but because they compliment each other so well. Great job by Joe D.

Im not sure where to start or if it is even worth typing so i'll try and make it brief.
1st, Kobe may have wanted Shaq to leave but the decision to trade Shaq was Jerry Buss's to make. I suggest you read "the Show" for a unbiased view of Shaq and Kobe's relationship by someone who was there. Not a sensationalised BSPN version which plays out like a bad daytime drama.
2nd, the Lakers starting line up consists of an undrafted PG, a pass first forward who is asked to be the #2 scorer and initiator of the offence, the most unskilled #1 draft pick of all time and a center who cant stay out of foul trouble but is improving. One stat they dont record on the box score (which im sure is the only thing you look at) is "would have been assists", Kobe would be averaging at least 5 more dimes if his teammates could hit wide open shots. I guess you havent seen Kwame miss more wide open lay ups than he had made this year, mainly from Kobe's passes.
3rd and finaly because ive wasted too much time already, Kobe is a shooter. He has questionable shot selection sometimes and that is his biggest failing. He is far from perfect but give him players that can finish on a regular basis and watch him pass more, he won 3 championships averaging more assists to Shaq than any other Laker. Also to question that Kobe cares more about breaking records than winning is ridiculous, there are few players in the league that play to win like Kobe even if he doesnt go about it the right way sometimes. I would take a player like that over a quitter like your boy Carter any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
By the way Kobe has had 14 triple doubles and a career high 15 assists, that shows how well you research before you type.
there are a lot of people that still agree with me after his great performance, hey..articles agree with me. ok, in his career he has had 14 triple doubles, but i want to know how many triple doubles he has had since running shaq outta town.
wats everyone think of the reseves? who deserves, who doesnt?
bosh obviously deserves, no biased there of course😄
four pistons are in, billups, rip, ben and sheed. is four representatives from one team too much? i mean, michael redd is nowhere to be seen, and hes been having a good year. vince got in, and probably rightly so, but no kidd... aint a proper allstar game without him!
good to see brand is included, hes deservingt a lot of repsect for being consistantly good, and marion is gonna provide some nice highlight material.

You may very well think Justin Timberlake is the most talented artist in the world and im sure if you looked hard enough you would find some articles that agree with you. What does this prove?
This "running Shaq out of town" drama is getting old, weren't you the one who was defending against the accusations of Carter telling other teams the Raptors plays? But i guess we shouldnt believe what we hear ONLY when it benefits your boy Wince right?
Make your mind up what question you want to ask man. First you doubt whether Kobe has a single triple double, then when you find out he has 14 you change the question. What are you trying to prove? The answer to your question is 5, second only to Jason Kidd.

i put couple of careers on hold,

One thing's for sure: Detroit will make the Finals.
The Heat aren't impressive. While they do have a good record, they haven't beaten anyone who is actually good.
This falls on Riley. He mixed up most of the team when it wasn't needed, and they'll pay for it when they get destroyed in the playoffs.
I still can't understand why Riley, a defensive minded coach, would mesh with a great offensive team and a pretty good defensive team with adding more star offensive players. Now, they're a great offensive team and a bad defensive team. How much more offense do you really need when you already have Wade and Shaq?
EDIT: People need to stop sleeping on Dallas. They have an excellent shot at beating the Spurs. Spurs are very beatable especially with Duncan's injury not getting better.
Good observations Dr. I cant see Rileys vision for the Heat either, one of the biggest mistakes was getting rid of Eddie Jones. He may have been streaky offensively but he was their best perimeter defender. Walker and Williams bring no defense and questionable offence.
The Spurs certainly dont look as strong as they did last season but they will be in the thick of it when it gets to the playoffs, remember experience goes a long way and Dallas has been known to choke. I like the Suns in the west to give both of those a run for their money, especially if they get Amare back at full strength.
Detroit = Finals, simple as that.

As long as they are healthy. The west should be very entertaining to watch come Playoff time. East? Zzzzzzzzzzzzz............. That is unless Heat or Cavs really pick things up. Hopefully James will show that playoff time is his time. But this year it is a no brainer that Pistons are 95% likely to go to the finals.
As for all-star reserves: I'm very happy with the selections. Although, I wish Chris Paul would have made it but there wasn't much room. Maybe he could have replaced Ray Allen but coaches are reluctant to vote for rookies and its a close call. However, Allen really only beats him in scoring and with the records of Hornets 25-23 (ABOVE 50%!) and the Sonics (19-30) I would have definitely switched them.
