Correction:
Somewhere sits a throne and upon it a Being, who created something to Love and would love Him back. When they turned against Him he did everything he could to cause them to turn to back to Him for He knew their path would lead to destruction. This Being send messengers to them and the people rebuked and killed His messengers and when the Being heard about these things and was heart broken so He sent his one and only Son, and they killed Him too.
I thought you knew scripture... anyone who had the Gospel of Q would sound like a studier of the Bible to me....
unless of course their study is pulling scripture out of context and comparing it with writings that never made it into the Canon because of God's will... But of course toss God out of the bible, and out of existance what what is there? A book full of history and moral teaching... and a world hopelessly bound for destruction...

How convienent that Satan is the antithesis of God, even though God created Satan.....Satan was spawned from God, so I find it difficult to grasp that such an evil being can spawn from a being of pure Love.
* Satan was not created evil... he was created by God as a good angel... angels also have free will... and Satan chose an evil path... 😉

If god is part of all things, visible and invisible then satan is also god.
* Satan is a god (II Corinthians 4:4) but not the Supreme Being... 😎

The Bible seems like a rather biased referene though. I mean it only portrays Satan in a negative light, and doesn't mention any of his possibly redeemable qualities. God loves him, doesn't he ? Why would God slander Satan so ?
And how come there is no reference on Satan's defense? I was always taught "innocent until proven guilty" 😆
I thnk it's kind of unfair that Satan is only portrayed through ONE bias.

So where does Evil come from PJ ? What actually makes Satan evil ?

Yeah I can buy that. Some idiots actually worship him. A "god" by defintion is a being who is worshipped. Technically, a human could be a fkn god lol
But yes, according to the mythology, Satan is not supreme. Kinda like Hades isn't as powerful as Zeus 😉

I think blind meant that the Bible gives the impression that Satan will not ask. (true enough though the bible doesn't say one way or another only that he doesn't)
as for the topic it's a loaded question because if God will not forgive Satan then it's impossible just like how it's impossible for God to lie.
By the way Uzin right on about what a god (small c) is. that's right anything that is worshiped. Satan is as much a god as a chair is if the chair is worshiped.

According to christian theology, God is an all-loving God? So therefore can he forgive Satan, and can Satan still have a place in Heaven?

satan is a necessay evil. like yin and yang, good and evil balance each other out. i think that if, given a chance, he would refuse a second chance by being forgiven.
Um...that implies that Evil is necessary, and therefore God wants and NEEDS it to occur.
That makes no sense you being a Christian, and you claiming that Evil is necessary. If Evil is necessary, or if Satan is a necessary evil, then "sin" should not be discouraged or punished.
Another Christian contradicts himself. Oh Boy 🙄

* sorry to burst your bubble...
"Be sober, be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking some one to devour."

* from Satan himself... he was created good and was given the power of free will (as the other angels and humans) and he was blinded by his ego and wants to overthrow and overshine the One who created him... very ungrateful...

* yep, kinda... however, Satan is not a ruler of the underworld (or hell) but will be a prison to it at the end...

* evil is not part of God's plan and neither it is necessary... Satan just happens to exist...

I have to stand with lord Urizen on this one. Satan is not a necessary evil. Hell was not created before Satan fell, it was created after. Heaven was never intended to be a place for Humans to go. The orginal idea of Humanity was an eternal life on earth, however Adam and Eve sinned, and that caused death to enter the world. When our human bodies die our souls have to go somewhere, that is why GOd allows us to go to heaven for eternity, however, God is making a new Heaven and a New Earth, so I can't speculate anything, we may just end up living on the new earth again. Yin and Yang is a big Joke, it was a demanded doctrine by Ching's disciples... I pretty much am convinced that Ching said, I have reached enlightenment and I can't explain how so figure this one! Figure out the Dao and you will reach enlightenment... but "no one can know the DAO"
God doesn't need an opposite power, or else Satan would be equally powerful. Evil was created becasue God allowed free will. I don't know why non-christians freak out on God because He created Hell... your the ones sinning and are buying the one way ticket there! Or WAIT!!! Lets all be zombies following God because we have NO OTHER CHOICE!!!! Their logic doesn't make sense. "I'd rather follow and love God blindly knowing nothing but doing good," rather than "I'm pretty glad I can make my own choices, doing what I please" It's crazy what people take for granted!!!
As for the Yin and Yang philosophy... toss it out, or your pretty much becoming a Pharisee. In the New Testament the whole concept of disabilities from birth caused from sin was a pagan philosophy. When the disciples asked Jesus about the mans blindness whether it was caused from His own sin or his parents sin... yea.. that was a legalistic belief.
If you fall into some legalism... I pretty much need to introduce to this buddy of mine... His name is Jesus and Jesus was not legalistic!
Be like Jesus and not the pharisees or pagans of this day!

What would be the point to Heaven ?
Oh boy, you don't even know your own religion do you ? 🙄
This is rich....the point to Heaven is that we can be with God and bask in his love. Love does not require hate to exist, the same way good does not require evil to exist.
If Evil is necessary then why discourage it ? If it is necessary, then we should ALLOW SIN, and you should stop trying to convert us to your Faith.
What part do you not get ?
