Wolverine also lands on the X-factors side, he could've attacked Iceman when iceman started to separate the teams from each other.
Don't you think he would've tried to help Jean when she was attacked by the demons?
Beast and Psylocke are both shown, even when they're not fighting. Psylocke when Iceman does his ice glacier and Beast when he gets out of the water.
Rogue was possibly KOed from Cyke's beam, Archangel was also drained by Rogue.
Wolverine's a fighter, do you think he would've stayed out of the fight because he chose to? Perhaps to ponder if he really wanted to fight them. 🙄
It isn't so hard to see that Angel's weathers took him out for at least some time.
There are only so many panels and they are just a cross section of what is happening not the entirety of the fight, the majority of the comic and fight (like ever single comic ever made) takes place in between the panels. Not seeing Wolverine fight for pages doesn't suggest he was out of the unconscious, he just shows that he was somewhere different, doing something different than the current panels where illustration.
Wolverine's unconscious body wasn't shown in any of those panels either was it? No, no it wasn't.
