Re, Sun God, Thoth, the movement of the moon. gods of childbirth. Gods of food growth. And so on. Every day when they looked up at the sun that was proof of their gods. Every time they saw the moon or a baby was born or the king gave a speech they believed they were seeing evidence of their gods.
Tell me... did this mean that their faith was not real? That their faith was invalid? Because they had faith, and to them it was proved as right every day of their lives.
