Nowhere did it say faster than a subconscious thought. It said faster than conscious thought.
And faster than concious thought means little when Magneto can call upon his powers fifteen times faster than conscious thought. And when his powers affect instantaneously, while hers take time to materialize.

No they don't you freakin' moron.
Magneto's nerve impulses are 1450% faster than Storm's... which means he thinks/reacts 14.5x faster than she does.
She has to summon a bolt of lightning whereas Magneto uses magnetokinesis to control the iron instantly.
This little Storm fanboy orgy is getting old... 😬

Didn't I already own you on this one too? Remember, Storm VS Jean Grey?A) The skewered EM-Fields did not make them any less powerful. Stop trying to claim that. It was not said anywhere.
B) In Magneto War, he did not need the machine to blackout stuff (as he had done it easily before), he needed it to KEEP his hold over the EM field, to stay in that state. This was stated in the comic too.
You interepting things totally wrong is getting really old, so is you forgetting everything others say.

Quoted for truth. Storm's ripped in half before she can form a puff of a cloud.

😑😕Storm does have power over some of the fundemental forces of the universe. Earth is part of, is made, moves in, and is from said universal energy forces. She controls the energy of said Earth, which is made manifest in the form of the what we call "weather". Storm is a mutant, basically human with powers
EXACTLY!!!
You stated it yourself.... she is basically a "human with powers." And it's established that Magneto's nerve impulses are 1450% faster than humans, so in essence, you just destroyed your own case.
Have a nice day. 🙂

Storm has acclimated her body to house much more powerful electromagnetic forces...Again, iron in blood???? It should not work.
The electromagnetic feild emmited by the intense lighning she munipulates through her body should "rip her apart".
Stop being a moron for two seconds... please, I'm begging you.
Simply because she channels lightning through her body DOES NOT mean that she'd be immune to the old iron manipulation in the blood trick. All that proves is that she's immune to the amps and watts caused by the lightning.... not that she's immune to electromagnetic fields. 😆
Calling your arguments "absurd" is an understatement... 🙄

.......One of the classic mistakes of the X-Men comic was in having Magneto be able to affect people "by the iron in their blood". It's been repeated by many fans of the series, most recently in a question in your 20 Jun 2002 E-post. It's really just another example of bad comic book science. Just for your information, magnetism affects iron because it possesses a quality called "ferromagnetism". It's important to understand that ferromagnetism is a property that accrues only when the ferromagnetic material is present in bulk, requiring millions of atoms in the solid phase of matter. The iron in blood is not in bulk. One atom at a time is bound into a very large molecule called hemoglobin, which is dissolved in the cytoplasm of your red blood cells. Accordingly, that lone atom is not ferromagnetic. Magnetic power such as Magneto's could therefore not affect the iron in your blood. As a matter of fact, oxygen atoms are individually about as magnetic as iron atoms, and there are a *lot* more of them in your body; it would be a lot easier for Magneto to use his powers on your oxygen than it would be for him to use them on your iron. That notwithstanding, I am, of course, looking forward to X2, as well as your other film work..........
Your point?
Superman should not be able to move planets around, but he does.
Real world logic/science takes a back seat to comic book logic in most cases.

Well you explain to me HOW exactly Mags could munipulate hemoglobin and you win.A magnet can only magnetize something that is atomically "in line" with the magnet, therefore he coudln't do it.
The lightning doesn't neccessarily control hemoglobin. It was just to show that her body can handle, house, and munipulate electromagnetic forces for long periods of time.
It is the comix.
