I think it didnt bother Wolvie because all his metal is internal, thus needing a more powerful magnet. The devise wasnt as strong as Magneto's magnetism, but strong enough to effect Danger and her partner.

Not to take anything away from Mags, but Thors hammer IS metal. And in the scan with the plasitc missiles, Mags stated that they were made to only reduce vulnerability. Not to take it away.

The thing is though that Uru is supposed to be unable to be magnetized, yet Mags found a way around it.
