Jean is not the Embodiment of the Phoenix, she's an Avatar like the rest, just the most powerful Avatar.
I'm sure Jean can fly as fast as she wants, but I believe she processes information like any other regualr Mutant or Human.
When Jean was conversating with "the consciousness" during the infamous #154 issue, she seemed kinda dumb even, nbot what one would expect from a Cosmic Intelligence, why would her thought process be any different.
Something like that.
I've simply never seen any version of Phoenix doing Speed feats on that level.

my whole point was if someone is capable of travelling at ftl speeds, their brain MUST be capable of processing information at speeds faster than a regular person or else they be flying into anything in their path, overshooting destinations, etc.
your objections are well taken but speed feats aren't really what i was looking at, but rather the ability to proces info more quickly. it seems logical to me to give the edge to phoenix, like i'd give an edge to quicksilver over wanda.
wanda MAY possess the power to wipe out phoenix (though i don't believe she has omniversal-wipe out powers at her finger-tips i am well aware that many 'lesser powers' have taken her out) but given as this comes down to wanda versus a very experienced telepath who can and has processed info at ftl speeds, and it comes down to who would be able to 'think' faster, i'd still give the edge to phoenix.
Wanda has done 10 times more on panel that Jean the only thing she did was holding a universe in hand we don't know if it was the 616 universe or anyother she did nothing else she didn't destroy or create or re-create any universe but Wanda has re-created the 616 universe numerous times and in this fight as stated by the thread starter she has full controll over the Chaos wave so Wanda takes the majority
