i also agree there more than meets the eye to this arc.
what do you think merlyn is up to?

What Merlyn is up to no one IMO knows, perhaps he is trying to get back the power of the Matrix, ore in some smart way gaining revenge over Captain Britain...

These are all speculation pointing towards that IMO no one knows what Merlyn is planning to do.

Btw Mr Master a Megaverse is as said a collection of Multiverses, could be collection be near infinite???

Jaspers is always allowing himself to get pummeled,
in order to come back again to ridicule his opponent.

Psychological torture,
(put in all that efffort to beat me down,
then watch me rise from a bloody pulp as though nothing happened,
all that effort ... and I come back fresh)

Let's not forget,
we never see Jaspers lose,
the scene cut off,
in the next issue,
the fight can continue from where it left off,
and Jaspers can rise again like its all a game.

Or we'll find out even more interesting info. 🙂

Merlyn seems to be pulling the strings as usual:

(that's from the last page of Die by the Swword #3)

From the first issue, Merlyn was devising some plan with Jaspers,
or Merlyn was manipulating Jaspers by portraying himself as a friend.
Not sure yet,
but something big is about to go down.

I honestly have no idea how many Multiverses are in that collection.

But I doubt they're infinite or near-infinite.

Okay want to take a shoot???

I also don't think they are infinite I mean then where would it end with the universes and the multiverses being infinite in size... Thats why I said perhaps they have a near infinite number.

I'd say 1000's. Could be less or more though.

But let's remember that every individual Universe connects to a number of Timelines,
(depending on how old the Parent Universe is)
and each Timeline is a potential whole Universe. (with time)

Basically, evey Universe, is a potential precursor to another Multiverse.

In this case, the Multiverses would be atleast near-infinite.

Even the Omniverse (though technically infinite) is finite according to Roma,
you know why?
Cause it can be folded/collapse/destroyed/remade/or re-created anew.
(it's been done)

The Omniverse has potentially no end,
but its still expanding,
and that expansion has only gone so far.

mr master what r your thoughts with regards to the rip and the decapitation of a celestail and the events of nova?

Mr. Master, you never debate anime battles, do you? Because a while ago someone suggested that you would have easily been able to shut up a group of idiots who thought a certain anime character could defeat Jaspers.

The "Rip" is literally the location where the "end of the Omniverse" is,
the place where Space/Time is embracing (naturally) its death.

If the Marvel Universe has a specific point where it began,
the "Rip" is the specific point where it ends.

and the decapitation of a celestail

As we know, no one knows who did this, but it will be interesting to find out.

As for now, that decapitated head has become a place called "Nowhere"
and its floating within the Vortex that leads directly into the death of all reality.

It's making me anticipate the next set of issues, and that's a good thing.

Its prolly a new cosmic 'badass'. Some rumors persists its Tiamut.

I'll second the anticipation

Mr. M, will u be reading the new 12 issue Eternals

Anyone read What if Annihilation got to Earth? Anyone have scans? I'd really like to read it.

Its out?

I might be able to get scans.

Why not? Nothing really happens in it anyway.

Annihilus doesn't even fight anyone. Disappointment. I wanted him to own Sentry.

I also like how Tony, Nova, and Captain America are about to take on Annihilus, and 2 hundred thousand troops. They would have gotten owned if they finished the story.

They were just holding them back for a few minutes. Not that hard considering it was Extremis and Nova owned allot of them before.

Any comic no matter what can be spoiled no matter what happens.
