seriously, that's retarded. a CCU destroying and remaking the omniverse? what's even weirder is they use omniverse plural.
Omniverse after Omniverse makes no sense, though.

Why do they refer to it as "the multiverse" if they're rewriting the omniverse?
Not "The" Multiverse,
but "Multiversal Planes."
Which are MultiverseS.
This is more direct:
"The MultiverseS topple over like dominos ...
One Omniversal Plane implodes into nothingness ...
and the Next ... and the Next ... until the Only thing left of Reality ...
Is Nothing ..."
I know it seems like they're saying OmniverseS imploded into nothingness,
but I believe they mean MultiverseS.
Or perhaps they mean OmniverseS in terms of Acclaim, Marvel,
Epic, Star, Paramount, Tsunami and on and on ...
Marvel has a host of Comics published under different titles.
I'm speculating of course, but it's a thought. 🙂

It's not that surprising actually.
I must admit I didn't expect it to be the Omniverse,
let alone more than one Omniverse.
But It's been stated that a Cosmic Containment Unit can rival even surpass the IG.
Cosmic Containment Units LIMIT themselves before reaching sentience,
according to Mephisto,
who in this scene had no reason to lie.
"The UNITS are All-Powerful,
but simply REFUSE to break certain SELF-IMPOSED taboos"
CCU's are contained energy from the beyonder realm, right? so what, the beyonder's are walking around in multi-omniverse destroying energy? and why didn't meggan (at least i think it was meggan) stop the chaos wave when she was supposedly tapping into this multiple omniverse destructive power?
good luck trying to make sense of thirty+ years in contradictory cosmos.
In the X Trilogy,
at one point Captain Marvel creates Heaven:
In order to give every being in existence their own Reality,
where they can become "God" and carry out all their dreams and fantasies,
they were given A tiny fragment each of a Cosmic Containment Unit,
like on some ol' communion type scene,
Every one steps up, swallows a fragment of the Cosmic Containment Unit,
and instantly becomes a "God" ...
Some are denied "Godhood" until they complete a mission:

Correct.

Evidently so,
which is probably why we never see the Beyonders.
They're just too much.

While it's true, Meggan did tap into the powers of the Beyond,
we don't know how much power she was able to draw on.
I doubt that those immensely powerful beings would allow Meggan to just take all of their power.
On the other hand perhaps stopping the Chaos Wave is an impossibility by force,
and must be held in check the way they succeeded in doing,
by closing the Rift, and allowing the Cosmos to seal it completely.

Cosmic Containment Units since way back have been able to make cats "Gods."
I remember Korvac remaking a Universe over 72 times (literally) with a thought.

So does that mean that all of the feats of the PR Beyonder would have been just child's play to the True Beyonders?
It seems that way. (or perhaps Pre-retcon Beyonder was but a taste of them)
I mean an Incomplete Cosmic Containment Unit erased the Omniverse.
A Complete CCU is but a minute fraction of the True Beyonders' powers,
according to the LT himself.
The Living Tribunal calls the Beyonders, "the INFINITE"
"Minute bits of of their Energy"
from the True Beyonders,
created Post-retcon Molecule Man & Post-retcon Beyonder.
In this issue Post-retcon Molecule Man nearly collapsed the Multiverse,
according to Kubik.
The Black Panther was keeping the Cosmic Containment Unit safe,
until the appointed time:
The Cube was affecting Reality, and it didn't even need to be used directly:
"The Nature of the Cube is that it's a manifestation of the Power of Creation,
a Power that goes beyond Natural Law"
Here Captain Marvel (the child with Cosmic Awareness) says,
the Cosmic Cube IS GOD!
Here it's broken down lovely, as to why the CCU is GOD!

I would definitely do so now.

Who's more powerful, Rachel Summers, Jean Grey or Giruad
Jean Grey (White Phoenix of the Crown)
Rachel Summers (was One with the Force)
Giraud (last true Phoenix) Phoenix IX
Then came the countless weaker Avatars, one for each Alternate Universe.

For all we know the True Beyonders are weaker than the Cosmic Cubes. Being somethings creator doesnt necessarily mean you're greater than that something. Without on panel feats from the True Beyonders themselves its not good enough to place them so high on the hierarchy based solely on how powerful their creations are.
Scientists can make war planes, tanks and weapons of mass destruction, can the scientists themselves physically match the destructive power of their creations?
Scientists can create supercomputers and computer simulations, can the scientists themselves multi-task and process calculations like their creations can?
Just a lil food for thought.

I've read somewhere which where a Beyonder share with Molecule man the power of a Cosmic Cube, thus making the Beyonders incomplete Cosmic Cube's.
That's Post-retcon Beyonder that merged with MM.
Post-retcon MM and Beyonder are "Minute Bits" of Energy from the Beyonders.
