I'm not familiar with the MO bill, with what do you specifically take issue?
It specifically stated that it bans human cloning HOWEVER as defined in the amendment human cloning is only defined as the development of the cells in a uterus.
So if they can grow a "human" in a petri dish then its not illegal. Not to mention it's an amendment to the MO Constitution, it has no place there what so ever. Maybe as a law or something else but certainly not as something in the constitution.
On the ballet it specifically stated it bans human cloning (which is more then likely why it was passed) however as per the definition of cloning in the document is crap you can clone just outside of a uterus.

Okay. So it's a cloning issue for you. I can respect that. There is a lot of moral and factual ambiguity on cloning. For me, personally, I'm one of those people that disregard the religious and "scare-tactic" factors of cloning, because I believe it provides the answers for a species that faces an uncertain future. Maybe that's the result of reverse scare tactics.
"In Virginia, the State Board of Elections announced it would not certify the outcome of the race between incumbent Republican Sen. George Allen and Democratic challenger Jim Webb until Nov. 27, after which recounts could begin."

On my part, yes. I make myself more comfortable with the gloomy future by supporting cloning. The overly religious comfort their future by damning it because "making peoples is the job o' god!"No offense Soleran.
Lol, religion doesn't rule my vote. I disliked how it was actually represented by the folks speaking for it as well as how it was explained in the voting booth.
I had read the amendment before voting plus it's an amendment, how is this supposed to benefit our rights as citizens?
The argument against stem cell reasearch is baseless. There are people who would rather save an embryo that's going to be thrown away than cure debilitating diseases like Parkinson's or Alzheimer's. I'm sorry, but that's inexcusable
Yeah ok they already do stem cell research, what point are you trying to make?

Nor do I assume it does. That was why I said "no offense".
I appreciate that, I'm looking forward to seeing some positive changes with whats happened for the most part.
Staying Republican or Democratic to long isn't good for the country(in my opinion,) switching it up is a plus.
