Democrats have taken the House of Representatives, along with the majority of Governors. The question of Senate control will likely go on for a day or two...maybe a week.
Missouri was just called for Claire McCaskill (CNN)

Montana is pretty much Democrat, it all comes down to Virginia, and I have faith in Webb

Webb is ahead by 15,000 votes now

Now all we need is a Dem. in the whitehouse and the destruction of America will be underway!

Yeah, "if the Democrats win, America loses" and all the bullshit that comes with that lie

What with the catelogue of mistakes, abuses, and incompetence displayed by the Bush adminstration it's shocking that the margin of victory isn't wider for the Democrats.

Hmm let's see... Iraq War, record Budget deficit, erosion of citizen rights, erosion of the separation of Church and State, lack of checks and balances...

You're completely forgetting the judiciary branch.

Go die.

Looks like the Dems are gonna take it.

I had a feeling that congress would go blue this November.

There was almost no question of the House, but the Senate is looking good

The House was somewhat a given, but I didn't actually expect them to take the Senate too (if current projections hold).

I was hopeful but not expectant. But even if the Democrats end up on top, it's a 1 vote majority, and we just elected a couple conservative Democrats.

Yup she won!

i just dont feel that i can properly slam and gloat on kidrock unless the dems take control of the senate...so i will wait *bites tongue* *crosses fingers*

at the very least i think we'll see a 50/50 senate

Hopefully we'll see some change to a head bobbing congress that just follows the president with a relatively blind eye.

Montana is Democratic by about 2,000 votes, Virginia by about 8,000. I'm going to be brash and just say the Democrats have won the Senate.

Were I brash, I'd say the same thing
