you know, you really don't have any cause to be cocky. Maybe the Democrats won't do as well as this suggests, but the Republicans are losing seats, make peace with that 😬
I'm just screwing with you, dude. 😆
I think it's funny how all the Dems are getting so heated about these elections.
Even if you win in a blow-out, most conservative and Republican voters aren't changing the policy's that they believe in, and the party will only come out stronger in 2008, with fresh leaders who are true conservative Republicans that aren't mired by scandal.
And if that happens, they will overtake again.
Thats what people want... at least 50% of the country identifies themselves as conservative, the other half is split between moderates and Democrats/liberals.
Sorry for giving you a bad time, I just find it funny.

I have no problem with general Conservatives, but much of the Conservatives in the public eye such as: George W Bush, Dick Cheney, Condaleeza Rice, Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, Pat Robertson, and Jerry Falwell make me want to vomit. I have no respect for any of them.
Bill O-Reilly I can tolerate, I sorta like him. Sorta.....
But then again there are Liberals like Hillary Clinton that I just plain don't like either.
John Kerry stands out to me not in the least bit.....but John Edwards was pretty hott for on old guy droolio
I miss Bill Clinton...he's so sexy ! He's the man ! I'd wish I were in Monica's shoes !

I'm pretty sure your "50% of Americans identify themselves as conservative" isn't true, but I can't back that up. It doesn't make sense, that's all.
Good Luck in '08! (If Obama runs, you'll need it 😄)

You like Bill O'Reilly? Do you watch his show?! 😖 I do every once in a while, and I feel unclean afterwards
I'm not a huge Hillary fan, but she's alright (Evan Bayh in '08 w00t)

(the findings that the article above is talking about are in this next poll, which oddly enough say that the Dems will take congress this year, but also that 68% of people said that they and their families were either the same or better off since Republicans took control of both Congress and the White House in 2002. Go figure that one out! )

😂 Yes, because passing massive marriage laws, restrictin ghuman rights, restricting civil rights, plunging generations into unimaginable debt, and redefinging foreign policy aren't changing this nation's policies?

Yes, because "true conservative Republicans" are defined by the lack of scandal. Ill give you a hint. Bush and his administration aren't conservatives, they are reactionary psychos.

The Tarrance group is associated with the national Republican Party.
Try presenting an UNBIASED source. Figures. Do you ever check any of your sources?

Hey, I admit to Google Guilt.
I just grabbed the first few polls that I could find.
Present another if you like...
Also, just curious, but how do my polls associated with the Repulican party count for any less than the polls associated with the liberal media?

sometimes, talking to you is like having a conversation with the cavemen from the Geico commercials.
(which is actually a kind of compliment, because i love those commercials)

Because the "liberal" media is a sterotype that you can't justify.
Where as I can jsutify that the Republican Party is pro-conservatism.
If you look at a broad section of independant polls, you can get an idea of what "truth" is.
Honestly though, to you just absorb everythign you hear because you like it? Why wouldn't you check something like that. Its being a very irresponsible citizen.

Please admit that you checked the bias of that source before I shread it to pieces.
Originally posted by sithsaber408Even if those sources are factual, which I doubt, just because most of the media votes with Democrats doesn't mean that they have a liberal bias. I'm a Democrat and a liberal, but I don't deliberately present false information to advance a political agenda, like Fox News and Clear Channel Communications do
