End Disscusion ,please ..

You cannot stat a discussion based on ignorance and then just claim its over. Any person who equates any group of people as lesser human beings based on their religion is disgusting. Apparently Islam has failed, in your case, to make you a decent human being.

So I'm glad this is over. I'm sure it will start again.

And i dont care of how people in US are thinking about us ,since Bush has alot to be ashamed of ..

Yes, Bush does have a lot to be ashamed of, he's a Conservative Christian leader who f*cked us over...

But Bin Ladin, Sadam Hussien, and other Islamic Ultra Conservatives ALSO have a lot to be ashamed of, since they f*ck every1 over just as bad, if not WORSE....

Saddam was not Islamist.

Why not?
Now, you are getting into the "True Christian or untrue Christian" argument, however, with Islam.
Anyone who claims to be Muslim, is a Muslim, unless some of the other Muslims say no. It is kind of like being in a club.

I'm not saying that Saddam was a true Muslim, but he was a Muslim.

Alliance, one can easily say George Bush isn't really a Christian...that's a flawed argument, and doesn't mean crap

Saddam identified as a Islamic leader, therefore he IS one.....

Saddam was a Muslim, that doesn't make him Islamicist.

What?

What is a Muslim, then? 😕

A Muslim would be an adherent of Islam.

An Islamicist is one who desires the integration of Islamic law and civil Law, either nationally or internationally.

This whole confusion started because I mis-read Urizens post. However, the confusion was ironically came up later anyway. It is my understanding that Saddam did not see himself as an Islamic leader (of the faith), but as a civil leader.

I agree with you that Saddam was a civil leader, however, he did embrace Islam when he thought it would help him in the Gulf War. He was an opportunist. Most of the people you call an Islamic are really just opportunists.

point is was he a practising muslim............. here in Norway as long as your parents aint a member of something else than the state lutheran church you become automatically a member of that church when born....................im a member, never asked to be but still.......silly rules we need to divide state and church.
What I aim at is that as long as I havent done anything about it Im still a memeber of the state church regardless how "unreligious" I am, in other words, to be considered a hristian 🙄 ..............................

Oh, well no sh*t bro....Same way Dick Cheney couldn't care less bout Christianity, but uses to his advantage...he is still a Christian however, since he integrates himself into that community.

They're not at all comparable. Did Saddam try to enforce Islamic law in Iraq? No, not reallt. Is Cheney doing that in the US? No, not really.

Just because you are part of a community doesn't mean that you feel everone has to feel that way or that community should be in control of society.
