savvy, look at you go! those are brilliant. really, you are very talented! They brought a big smile to my face. I love the second picture--- it looks so real!

oh, those aren't mine! Whoops, I should have clarified that, my bad! Oh, if I could draw like that...soooo much sparrabethy goodness. Sadly, my drawing talents are limited. I just thought the pics were pretty 😉

I've done a few manips, but I'm still a newbie 😛

Oh wow! To go with your fic! You know, I can totally see these two having babies together. Sometimes it seems kind of scary that they would become parents, but they would actually be very good. They're both very protective and observant and fun.

oh hahaha too bad... they are great fun though, thanks for sharing! 🙂

Aw, T&T's movie with a song from another T&T movie. You guys will like this.

The manips are very scary. Sorry, i just can't stand seeing weird-looking Jack and Liz. Tigers, are you definitely sure the first draft from TnT is real? There are fake scripts all over the place, ya know. PirateDiva, I agree with everything you say - Ted is a Willabether and Terry is a Sparrabether.

Can we ever get over Sparrabeth?

gah. i want to do manips too!

Alright, I'll be back.. later when I wake up and read some of the few pages back and comment on them...

nope, not to my knowledge. i just watched some clips from awe... Jack's interaction with elizabeth when she and the crew arrive to rescue him is BRUTAL.... and hot. He doesn't seem so much mad at her, as he seems mad that she's arrived with so many other annoying people... (barbossa and turner, specifically) and saving face in front of them.

and i forgot about the bargaining with Beckett... Beckett is such a sparrabether, he wants to know what becomes of Miss Swann... haha... wonder why. Let's just finish that scene, shall we?

Beckett: And what becomes of Miss Swann?

Jack: What interest is she to you?

Beckett: I could very well ask you the same question. You seem awfully eager to get rid of Turner.

Jack: He stole my ship.

Beckett: So you plan to steal his fiance, and then you'll be square, am I right?

Jack: Took the words right out of my mouth, mate.

*pumps fists in air*

YES!! That should've been in there!!!!!!

rofl, it's incredibly funny

You know...i dont worry about the ending anymore...

just the fact that keira is an apparent sparrabether is all i need to get by 😄

Now SHE is a girl who knows how a brilliant love story should end 🙂

BEAUTIFUL Kate!!!!

Dam Ted n Terry even they r really nice guys!! But Dam them!! grrr!

Miz WilloftheWisp, I had a brief flight of fancy on your idea about talking with Mr. Depp. Didn't he say Jack Sparrow was a cross between Keith Richards (the wolfish smile, trickster) and PepeLePew (yeah lol), that was how Mr. Depp imagined him to be? With Pepe, he always falls for the gatita who accidently gets white paint in a stripe on the black fur--and he woos his dadgum heart out--he goes through every passionate cliche on the planet, so what happens at the end of the cartoon when his "love" isn't necessarily returned? I can't remember for the life of me, although PepeLePew is one of the most favorite of all characters for me. I remember it drives the kitty gatita nutso becos he is quite the ardent and romantic lover. She always thinks him gone finally! and then boom, there he is again. So, does he just bounce bounce off into the sunset, looking for his next paramour or does he experience sadness etc--okay, this may be a lame trail, it's not meant to be off putting, please believe, it's just when you said that about talking with himself about the character....it led me here. Okay, that's my very small 2 cents worth--looking for clues at the scene of the crime (Joe Walsh).

Hmm, analyzing Pepe Le Pew. On the surface it sounds foolish, but you have me intrigued, tex, you really do. I don't know if Pepe ever experiences grief at losing his cat he thought was another skunk. However, there is an episode (do you call them episodes?) where the cat actually falls for him. He doesn't expect it at all and I don't remember what brings it on, but she has this really passionate look in her eyes and he's like, "hey, what's the matter with you" and she starts heading right for him. Wish I could be of more help, lol, but you've opened an interesting topic on the lives of the loony tunes characters and their sexual angst. I'm sure Jack is more Pepe when he's with other girls in that he knows the right things to say to get them to sleep with him. He's had a lot of women and he at least has told Scarlett he loves her even though he doesn't. But with Elizabeth, I don't know. I don't think he always knows what to say with her. She takes his breath away because she's so different and confident I think.

oddly enough, thats the only pepe lepew episode i have seen; as i recall, the cat drinks a potion or something to that effect and falls for pepe. In response, Pepe freaks out and spends the episode trying to run away or hide from her... am i remembering this right?

So.... if Elizabeth had turned on her heel, discarded Will (sweetly, of course) and thrown herself into Jack's arms, do you suppose something similar would have happened? Of course, we all go ga-ga for Sparrabeth and are convinced Jack could be true to one woman if Elizabeth wouldve given him the chance, but realistically, the sudden change of situation may have frightened Jack back to wherever he sailed in from in film 1. what do you guys think?

i remeber that one. 🙂 hehe

Well, interesting! Thanks Miz Willo and Miz Kate, for muddling through this--Miz KateLoves, I too remember that episode where Miss Kitty acts way out of line, all dewy eyed and aggressive with Pepe and he did flip out! 😄
Most of the cartoons I remember have Pepe LePew as the aggressor and he hasn't a clue that the object of his affection isn't who he thinks she is. He is so determined to have her at all cost and looks at every attempt to get away from him as her "shyness--her flirty-ness".So Pepe (Jack)pursues almost always, refusing to take no as anything but come hither, Miss Kitty (Elisabeth?) tries desperately to evade him ...ah but she is interested...anywho, somehow it resonated in his brain and served him well as he made the three movies!!

too cute, do you suppose we could convince loony tunes folks to make a PepeLePew/pirate cartoon? I would so very much be LMAO.

Okay 2nd weird riff--residual full moon...really truly in the wonderful world of what if--if Capt'n Jack showed up, how long do you suppose we could hold out if we were really really trying Not to fall into his arms?

Pepe is one of my fave looney tunes characters (the other being Daffy Duck - I can't stand the rabbit). He's so cool in his deluded way. But much as I like him, I don't think TnT was inspired by him at all. Johnny was the one who was quoted as saying Jack was a cross between Pepe and Keith. I get Keith, but I really don't see Pepe in Jack - he's not romantic or love-lorn like Pepe! He didn't even pursue Liz at all!

Johnny once said he was watching cartoons with his kids and he got the idea that his next character should have a kind of cartoon element. I see more of Bugs Bunny in Jack than Pepe, but oh well. Maybe he just meant the old cartoons where they defy gravity and stuff. Every once in a while Jack does something really cartoonish.

Well, tex, again you've brought up an interesting question: if Liz started coming on to him, would he freak out? Maybe at first. I think he would be in disbelief, not sure if it was really her and why she left Will and stuff like that. But I think he would catch on and just go with it. I think he's a little afraid of her in DMC but not so much in AWE. They seem to be above the one-upping each other so I think he would welcome her with open arms if she chose him.

Just a visual aid for everybody. I guess Jack is similar to Pepe in that he always plays it cool. He doesn't like to be unruffled or appear vulnerable in any way. Pepe stays optimistic.
